I think he means if they sign Sanders they drop pursuing Rodgers and Sanders competes with Rudolph for QB1.

If they were to pick up either Sanders or Shough, I would cut off talks with Rodgers. They need to be up front with the rest of the room as far as what the plan is - if it's naming a QB1 straight out or competition. Don't yank the carpet if Rodgers decides to commit sometime in July.

He is pulling a full Farve. He will lean towards retirement until the Steelers break camp at Latrobe and head back to Southside. If Aaron Rodgers does not sign before the draft, and the Steelers somehow end up drafting Shedeur Sanders tell Rodgers to "KICK ROCKS", and let Sanders and Mason battle it for the starting job.

I will continue to repeat myself, Art Roney, Omat Khan, and Mike Tomlin screwed themselves last year, by not letting Kenny Picket and Mason Rudolph battle it out in 2024 for the starting job. I know people like to kick Kevin Colbert for drafting Pickett and Rudolph, but I firmly believe if Colbert was here, we would have seen the Pickett vs Mason show in 2024.

If the team can sign a camp cut at say CB who is good they will and if he is better than what we have he will start

I realize QB is the focal point of the offense but I believe the same situation applies

This MFer won 5 games last season with all the players and coaches that he wanted! Got the coach fired! Although maybe he can bring that magic of firing a coach here? And he is going to come here and save the offense when his mind is so far out in the abyss? He can just walk in and take the snaps? I smell desperation and delusion.
