In retrospect this post is dumber than a box of rocks

I'm not taking sides, but guaranteeing a starting job would be a violation of the CBA.

 

He is not wrong too...Rodgers will be with us for only 1 year and after that we don't know what is the future at this position....It would been much better if the steelers would stay with Fields and play to his strength last season and maybe the steelers would the QB of the present and future with him and he would been happy to stay with the steelers if Tomlin would stick with him as starter all season long during the high and the low you can have in a NFL season

It will be a huge red flag for Tomlin if Fields has a breakout year with the Jets

 

What was Fields strength struggling to score points on offense? Once again in the Dallas game Fields threw for only 134 yards and scored three points at home in the first half against a defense with no Micah Parsons . The defense came up with three turnovers Russell Wilson likely wins this game.

 

He use Fields as a pocket passer instead as a dual treat who was so stupid and I don't care about the risk of injury...Also the ball protection is the number 1 goal of Tomlin and it can handcuff a QB and a offense big time.Fields was still good with us,one bad half vs Dallas don't erase that...His numbers and the numbers of the steelers on offense would been much better without some big penalties like in the game vs Denver in the first half

And if Fields has a breakout year with the Jets,Tomlin and the former Bears head coach will look awful,this is the reality

 

Of course you don't care about the Dallas game because it doesn't your narrative . The offense opened up once Wilson took over averaging like 24 PPG.

You put too much stock on one game....It was still not as bad that the final 5 games of wilson in 2024...It would been better to have a full look at Fields as dual treat that to see a washed QB

It was a awful decision and like I said he will look awful if Fields has a breakout year in New York
