They have put themselves in this hole by poor planning and execution, Aaron has the leverage, likely not even about money at this point, it is ego driven. They lost control, and continue to look like absolute morons, set a freaking date, sign or move on, that simple.

I still think Kirk Cousins is a fallback option for the Steelers this year.

No Idea what to make of the Falcons brining back Matt Ryan this year. Coach or Player?

Apparently Pat put the kibosh on any Rodgers announcement because he said he isn’t on the show tonight but we’ll see.

None of those guys helps fill the need that is left open if they don't get Rodgers.

What leverage does Rodgers have at this point? If he wants to play this season, he has none. There is nowhere else left to go.

Im watching it. I thought Rodgers was going to come walking out when Renegade started. That would have been a cool introduction.

    Got Jelly Roll instead :lolol:

I was referring to the timing of his signing. He could play or retire, my point is the Steelers not putting a demand period on his decision. I personally do not care if he signs or not, it is what it is, they can claim patience, but the whole front office looks like amateurs.

Like I said, the Steelers did a good job selling a story and quite a few folks here were suckered into believing it!

McAfee said on Ben's podcast he wasn't expecting Rodgers to show up, I guess Rodgers will drag this out up until the draft.

Honestly, I like Jelly Roll more. Not as a QB, mind you, but as a human being.

They are all in on this damn Sumo wrestling right now.

Say what you want, but Pat is throwing a lot of money around to the locals.

LOL... Crosby made that million dollar throw. I thought Skenes would have had a better chance than Crosby. And of course, Ben made it anoth
    er million.

That is hilarious. The only Eagles fan in the building just won $2 million!!! The crowd actually started Booing when they found out who won the big prize.

This is what I was thinking, too.

Also why Cousins should be in play if Atlanta ever releases him.

    This writer disagrees:

Move on to what? Cousins? LOL, guy is cooked. Flacco? Available any time. Wentz? sure.

Maybe they should have resigned Wilson? This was the QB who led the offense to 1 FG in the last two minutes of each half of each game in the last month of the season...9 possessions, one FG.. that's it.

This is another season of QBC, so it's not all that critical who mans the position. The Steelers did it last season, they did it in 2019. They can do it again this season.

For Rodgers my biggest question is whether he plays in fear like what I feel I saw in him last year. He was quick to give up on plays to save himself being knocked down, and it was really obvious that he was not going to stand in and deliver the killer strike downfield if he was going to take a hit doing it.

On that, we agree. They should have pulled the offer a week or two ago.

Yeah if this whole delay is him figuring out if he wants to still play then he already has his answer and should retire.

With no announcement last night who knows how long this will drag on now.
