You never know Hampton coming in for a visit and he could be an option.

This is the same guy who brought in Russell Wilson last season, then failed to find a competent starting receiver opposite Pickens. This season, he let most of the free agents that could have helped this team sign elsewhere in pursuit of a quarterback, then watched as the quarterback options went elsewhere while he waited on Rodgers. He has done a lot right, but he has also made some glaring mistakes.

Doesn’t mean they will take him in the first rd.

This isnt free agency, this is the draft. His drafting has been pretty good.

Both are matters of talent evaluation. Some of his failures over the past year are calling his ability to do that into question.

No, it’s really not when you look at his body of work in the draft as compared to free agency. Much more to criticize in FA.

Big difference in talent evaluation between draft and FA

Draft you are speculating on potential

FA you have a pretty good body of NFL work to judge from

Is that giving weight to the equation of guys Tomlin really likes and has a real bad itch for? Tough to know what is Kahn being stubborn and what it Tomlin. I lean a lot towards this is what Tomlin wants.

There is more to question in free agency, but I have come to question his judgement in general.

It is still talent evaluation. More importantly, it is still good or bad judgement. I have far less faith in Khan's judgement than I did a year ago.

I’m pretty comfortable with him and the draft, I trust him not to take a RB in rd one. The board would have to break really badly for them to do that.
