I am good with the timing - I would have taken your word for it!

The fact that him and DK connected is probably a sign that Rodgers will be with us.

The Giants already have their QBs. The Vikings have a young QB from the draft and would have signed Rodgers already if they were interested.

My sense is Rodgers still wants to play, and who can blame him, I would work for another year or two at 20-30 million per year. I hope the price tag isn’t over that.

Why doesn’t Pickens hop his sorry ass on a plane and get out there also. If I remember correctly when Russell signed and guys went out to throw Pickens was no where to be found then. The guy is a cancer and not a team player trade his ass now.

Of all the crazy talk about GP, WTF should he fly to LA to play catch with a 42 yo man who cant make up his mind to sign a contract? Cam had the perfect response, you either want to be a Steeler or not, GP may get his criticism, this is not one to even consider.

Here's the problem, he's going to be taking a big bite out of the cap and he hasn't shown that he will take having a younger QB in under him with any kind of mentoring. Same as Ben, he wasn't in there working with the guys trying to help them get ready.

Let’s hope Kahn thinks he has Rodgers by the short and curly and not the other way around. A 2-year contract at $20M/year with a way to get out after one year would be ideal

Pickens is too busy working on his new “Football is not coming my way” move. Instead of just standing there and not blocking anyone he is trying to find a way to hit up the concession stand.

Probably because Metcalf was already there, and Rodgers lives there in the offseason. A few minutes drive for an hour of throwing/catching is different than flying 3 hours, + airport time, to do it.

That cash won't even pay for AArons darkness drug laden retreats.

Its going to be double that. Rumored to be a one year deal which i'm sure will be 40 to 45 which i'm sure all will be guaranteed.

Sing it: Bags is buying a Stairway to Heaven.

A playoff win with AAron? Then Art II will flex. Then load up on Ben Gay. And say he has the right coach :lolol:

AAron won 5 games last season with everything at his disposal. Get your popcorn ready.

Rodgers AAV with the NYJ was $37.5M. Why would the Steelers offer more for a QB one year older than dirt?

The Vikings have concerns regarding McCarthy's recovery. If he doesn't look ready in OTA's, they may go after Rodgers.

Aaron only has so many options, it's not like he's coming off the GB roster.
New York had no offensive line, they got him killed 4 or 6 plays into the season.
They didn't do much better last season.
The Jets is where QB's go to die.

But the assessments of 'not mentoring' and being a guy that walks to a different beat are spot on.
But maybe we could use a QB that could tell a Coach or OC, "Man that's nuts"

Offhand, I do think Rogers is the best option for us now. But that doesn't mean it is a good thing.
I worry with pass protection... lack of.
We put ourselves in this spot and now all the choices left are bad.

That's right in line with my thinking as well. He is the best of a bunch of not good options for the team. But without regard to how good or bad he is, nothing matters if our o line does not improve.

Someone said the OL will be far better now that Jones will be playing 'his natural position'.... Me, I'm a skeptic that needs visual evidence.

Nothing to see here. Rogers was just practicing for the Old Timers Game in Maui next month. Metcalf was just doing geriatric community service.
