We couldn’t develop a “pro ready” Pickett. What makes us believe we can develop Levis?

    Yeah, Steelers aren’t qb whisperers.

Levis as a rookie really flashed at times though with potential. He almost beat the Steelers in Pittsburgh IIRC?

This is how much each team spent in free agency the Steelers must be saving all of that cap space to sign Aaron Rodgers .

He didn't do much in that game. The Steelers only won by four, 20-16, because their offense wasn't good. He did have a chance to lead the Titans to victory late, but he threw an interception to clinch the game for the Steelers.

I can't imagine any team taking on Kirk Cousins contract.

Wait for Kirk to be released and then sign him for league minimum for 1 year as Atlanta pays him. Cousins just announced that he is refusing to show up for any offseason activities with Atlanta this year.

That doesn't mean they are going to cut him.

When the hell does FA end? Every time I come on board I think I'll see the thread about our new starting QB.

I'm sick of reading clickbait. Does anyone want Russell Wilson?? Best I can tell Ahole Rodgers is just being a prick. If we get neither I guess we root for a deer.

Welp, I guess they won't be drafting a CB with all the moves they adding to the secondary.

This could take a while to be settled Rodgers is in no hurry to make a decision, it seems like they would only turn to Wilson if Rodgers told them no.

Here is an interesting take on current cap space. What team has the highest Active Cap Spending right now for 2025???

The Steelers like to go into the season with $10 million in Cap Space: Leaving Aaron Rodgers only about $20 million in available money. This is what I believe the Steelers have offered Aaron.
1 year $20 million no Void Years.

What if we trade back to regain a 2nd rd pick? Maybe we can luck up and still get one of the players we wanted as well.

Jacksonville has 10 picks this year. If the Steelers are dead set on getting Dart (or another QB in Rd 1 or 2) they could send them our first (#21), for their second (36) and the later of their fourths (126). Gives them something like this:
    • 1st: -
    • 2nd: 36
    • 3rd: 83
    • 4th: 123, 126
    • 5th: 156
    • 6th: 185
    • 7th: 221

I feel you are implying Pickett’s failure is the Steelers fault for not being able to develop him. He was a bad first round pick. The Eagles traded for him and then sent him to the Browns. Pickett will be lucky to be a career backup.

The Eagles had a cheaper option for their No. 2 job. Pickett has his flaws, but the Steelers screwed up pretty much every way possible when they had him.

JK Dobbins still looking for a home. Do the Steelers have any interest in this former Raven that finally looked healthy last year in L.A.???

The Steelers can create plenty of cap space if they want to with some restructures, or when TJ gets a new deal.

I would take him for like $2 million or less.

Same here. My guess is they'll see if they can pick one up in the draft first, though.

I like Skattebo if he's there in the 3rd. Neal or Giddens should be there in the 4th.

That’s a huge move down for a 4th as compensation. On the pick value chart we’d be giving up 260 points for 46. Their 3rd pick (72) (230 points) would be more appropriate.

And Levis is a bad 2nd round pick. If we can’t polish one turd what makes us think we can polish another turd?
