This probably makes him a definite top 15 pick.

I'm not sure any of them are there where we draft in the 3rd. If we trade back, I would assume QB. If not, we're probably punting until 2026 on the QB selection.

Trading back wouldn't surprise me in the slightest. The question remains as to which team is going to be desperate enough to do so. Granted, all of this is speculation due to how uncertain this draft will end up after the first 10 picks. For that matter, the first eight seem to be locks. Who specifically?!?!

    They are as follows;

    Cam Ward

    Mason Graham

    Will Campbell

    Abdul Carter

    Travis Hunter

    Ashton Jeanty

    Armand Membou

    Shedeur Sanders

Tet McMillian and Kelvin Banks should also be on this list but their projections are all over the place. Now, why would I bring but the first eight picks?! The First Round is gonna be a feeding frenzy for EDGE Players along with WRs. Should either highly graded positional player fall to pick 21 and there is a team desperate enough to move up as much as possible with Pittsburgh, I'd say take it.

That said, what if Harmon, Grant and/or *gulp* Nolen are there at Pick 21?! Notice how I left out Will Johnson.... for now. April 14th will be very telling for Will Johnson as that day is his private workout. For now though, I can see him falling. I'd also like to mention Jahdae Barron as well but with an asterisk.

Given how poorly Minkah was used in 2024, how is Teryl Austin going to use Jahdae given his inefficiency of DB usage?! Mind you he was a DB Coach before becoming the Defensive Coordinator for the Steelers.

I personally wouldn't be shocked if an OT is selected in Round Three. If anything, IOL might be a fifth or even fourth round option.

I just did an early 53 list and I had two empty roster spots on the OL that I had no idea what to do with.

I'm assuming they'll sign a swing tackle at some point. I'm assuming.

I wouldn't mind having Tevin Jenkins if he came at a reasonable price. When he's healthy the guy is scary.

they have spencer anderson and calvin anderson along with dylan cook. they will have to do something if troy f has trouble again. cook had that foot trouble last year. calvin isn't much. spencer they have put inside mostly but could be upgraded.

ryan watts probably won't be able to play at safety this year or maybe ever. had neck surgery after the season. not a good injury for a safety. omar pretty much said this. don't know but i see a draft pick. especially if they move back in the first.

I think Spencer is an adequate back up G, but man, Calvin Anderson and Dylan Cook? Anderson took 11 snaps for us last year, dressed for 5 games the year before. Cook has NEVER taken an NFL snap. I'm hoping we can do a little better than that.

calvin wasn't very good. spencer is OK, he is able to play anywhere along the line. not at a high level though. cook had that lis frac injury going on last year. he has been brought back for now 3 years. i watched him a lot last preseason and he actually looked really good. they must see something in him i guess. he was pretty raw coming in.

Ok, who and when, concerning QB's, are you sorta happy?

Since we don't have a 2nd, it'll be 3rd rd or later for me.

That likely eliminates Dart, but I'll say that if we trade for a 2nd, I'd be sorta happy to get Dart there.

In the 3rd, I'd be sorta happy with Shough, and Howard.

In the 4th, I'd be sorta happy with McCord, Ewers, Rourke, Milroe.

In the 5th or later, I'd be happy with Leonard or Cook.

Nothing whoa about it. He's probably an end of the first round type player and with Minkah's play declining, we don't know if this is his last year with us (would be quite the cap savings to cut him). I would expect the team to vet him (at least the position coach).
