is an inadvertent unintentional tanking coming, probably. We have too many holes still and our our HC/OC combo still sucks in my opinion. Gonna be brutal this year. Looking like a total **** show and I can see Metcalf becoming totally disenfranchised once we start sucking and can't get him the ball.

This… we are in for entertainment with Pickens and Metcalf
Whats the betting line they fight each other before end of season? Over/Under 8 games?

Might surprise us and become the dynamic duo, then again those netting odds are off the table..lol. Metcalf can at least sulk after being paid, GP wants to establish a path toward the big bucks, keeping his attitude in check will be as much an issue than getting the catches.

Why are they going to fight each other :lolol:

DB’s are the ones that need to be worried. Two physical imposing WR’s who won’t take any ****.

And not once have they ever fought a teammate that I am aware of.

And I watched the video, some of those examples werent all on them.

I think people are trying to hard to make these guys out to be something they aren’t other than divas.

Only time will tell, but I’m not sold on Darnold. There’s a reason why he’s on his 5th team. He won’t have Jefferson and Addison to throw to with the Seahawks. Those two can get Duck Hodges a $40M/year contract

He was worth a shot for one season. That's the part that bugs me. The Seahawks can easily get out of that contract after 2025.

After seeing how poorly we've done during free agency I wished we wouldn't have signed Metcalf. He's a good enough WR to win a couple of games by himself and hurt our draft position in 2026. If we are going to tank then we should have gone all in for it instead of half stepping our way into tanking.

Pickett has shown more. Willis's big passing day was 202 yards with one touchdown.

That was pretty much Picketts average, he routinely threw for less than 250 yards, with multiple games under 200 yards and even had two game under 100 yards his last season here :lolol:

The big difference is one was “pro ready” and the other was a developmental project. The project is showing more.

If we keep Pickens, let Mason roll. If, as I suspect, we get rid of Pickens, then I don't give a ****.

He really isn’t. He has a better team around him and far better offensive coaching than Pickett ever had in Pittsburgh. You just like running quarterbacks.

Well, I'd hope Pickett would have shown better single-game stats than that by now given he's had 25 starts, compared to Willis' five. We can't really compare the two much by way of stats because of Willis' small body of work, but my comment was more tongue in cheek; none of the QBs from that year have shown anything to get excited about.

Scribe isnt able to do that, just admit Pickett sucks. Even after all this time, it’s yeah Pickett didn’t play well BUT. Everything after but shows he still thinks Pickett could have been successful if he landed someplace else.

Pickett does not have the gonads to compete to be a good quarterback

And that will follow him anywhere he goes

They haven't, though Willis has shown less. The Titans tried to turn to him and he was so incompetent that they had to give starts to a scrub like Dobbs. A couple of starts last season were the first time he showed anything as a passer, and that was with better coaching and talent around him than we ever saw with Pickett in Pittsburgh.

I do think he could have been solid in the right situation, but man, Pittsburgh wasn't it.

Repeating the same fiction does not make it true. Regurgitating the fiction leaked by the team to cover for their mistakes does not make you look good.
