Right now they seem to be playing musical chairs and there are 3 dancers and 2 chairs

It is best if you are dancing if you decide when the music ends

I really don’t think that they are interested at all in Russ. Maybe they get Dart and let Mason start. Mason might be a good mentor for Dart. Just because Mason isn’t a HOF he might be a great coach
Don’t think Rodgers or Russ would be good mentors

I just saw Rodgers wants to go to the Vikings. Rush? Wentz? Russell? Maybe just a draft pick and skylar?

They aren't getting Dart unless they make a trade or reach for him in the first round. Neither of those seem like good ideas.

Saw the same thing. AR said he might retire if the Vikings don’t offer. Well . . . Bye.

Some clickbait. Rodgers has spoken to no one. Even Pat and AJ Hawk don’t know which way he is leaning.

This has been going around for a few days, ever since Farve mentioned Rodgers should sign with the Vikings

Cooper Rush just signed with the Ravens. While the Steelers wait on this *******, even the backup options are dwindling.

This is how things go when you're poorly managed. Held hostage at the mercy of a head case. We're slumming with the Giants now. And Rodgers was Plan C. Can't wait to see what D is.

We might go into the season with Rudolph, Thompson and Shough. That would be the worst QB room the Steelers have had since 1969.

Normally I would say be patient and they will get something done

But I said that last year when we needed a receiver

This article makes it sound like the Vikings might not actually be after Aaron Rodgers at all. The Cliff notes version basically boils down to fear that Rogers being on the team might stunt McCarthy's growth. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nf...considering-signing-aaron-rodgers/ar-AA1B27xS

Joe Flacco is available. We could always sign him. LOL.... Although that feels a little bit like putting Jeffrey Dalhmer in charge of developing a nutritional plan to go along with your gym workout.....

Was that his actual quote? Besides all the other red flags, that right there should be a nail in the coffin. If you are thinking about retirement, then why risk you season on a guy with that mindset.

I just looked through the list of available QB's. It is sad, but just a Cooper Rush or ???? and let them fight it out in camp with MR. Draft a QB and start building a team of core players. Draft another next year if the rookie does not look promising.

The mentor stuff is somewhat overblown. Do you want a guy to be a good teammate, sure, answer questions and be supportive, yes. But you have a coach, other interested parties and that is not the other QB's job.

Thats saying a lot from a guy who uses the name of one of those 69 QB's, lol. Though in looking up his wiki I see he will be inducted into the college football HOF this year. Good for him.

With the depth at D line, I hope they slide down and can get an extra pick, 5 or 4 depending on value. If Dart is there and they move up in the 2nd (maybe using a lower next year pick), then do it, but we need to fill some positions for depth and future.

I was born in Butler where Hanratty was the QB for the Golden Tornados. After his sophomore year at Notre Dame when the Irish won the national championship, all of us in Butler County were convinced that he would be the next Johnny Unitus. He just didn't have the talent to make it big at the next level though.

Is Butler the town that Rudy was from? Rings a bell.

Of course, Montana threw some cold water on that whole Rudy story.
