Shough in the 7th round would be acceptable. I think even the 5th is too rich for him.

Here's a general highlight reel. I like the arm strength and his use of arm angles to get the ball around defenders. Shows good ability to survey the field while rolling out of broken pockets.

If nothing else watch the play at 2:57.

His ball placement is superb. The play at 3:55 impressive, great example of arm angle there.

His age is really going to ding him but hypothetical here, lets just say if he were the next Tom Brady (remember, hypothetical here) wouldn’t getting 10 years from that quality of play be worth it.

This guy has no chance of going in the first round, he’s the perfect 3rd day pick that should still be there.

    Shough enough.

I’m liking this guy. Wouldn’t that be a heck of a story if they actually end up drafting him and he turned out to be the next franchise QB.

age and injury history are the two things holding him back. i'm still of the theory of getting two. as of now skylar is all we have. slough and howard? slough and ewers? slough and dart? slough and mccord? slough and jt daniels? slough and ?????? ewers and howard? many combo's waiting. just put somebody in there to get the ball rolling towards the goal. maybe none of them work out but you have to try and not worry about the mel kiper's of the interweb and what they want. who care's?

As per usual, Tomlin is in attendance at Clemson.

Player of note?! Cade Klunbik. He won't be draft eligible this season but 2026 is different.

I assume he's throwing for his teammates? It's good they can get a look at him. Are they allowed to 'talk' to him if he hasn't declared? Who is he making the trip to see btw? Not really anybody of note in their class.

Senior Bowl meeting and pro day dinner with DE Mykal Williams.

Senior Bowl meeting and formal combine meeting with RB Ollie Gordon.

Could be our 1st and 3rd round favorites so far.

The rbs we are looking at seem to be that 3rd round type, maybe 4th if we get lucky.

I like Williams, and he'd be a fine replacement for TJ if we end up not wanting to pay him. I trust the organization's opinion on pass rushers. We've done fairly well of late.

Can't say I love Ollie Gordon though. He doesn't do much for me tbh. I get his numbers dropped because his team was bad, but he just scares me a bit. Maybe its just some scar tissue from watching another big back that runs too tall and isn't quite explosive enough. I'll agree that the interest is there from the Steelers. I am not very high on him.
