Was just reading about this. Cousins roster bonus isn’t for this year. What it is is it makes a $10 million payment for next year from an “injury guarantee “ to fully guaranteed.

A part-time hall monitor can't be making messes in the hall. It sets a bad example for the kids.

You have to admit it would be hilarious if Wilson ended up in Cleveland with Pickett.

Vikings are building up that defense to counter move the Bears OLine rebuild.

That would be the smartest thing given the circumstances, with no viable options at QB that's gonna lead to a SB.

Problem is, we're about to sign a diminishing pass rusher to a huge deal that has potential to handcuff the team for some time, and they spent $50 billion dollars, and threw away a premium pick on Metcalf, forcing them into a win now mode, which they CLEARLY aren't ready for. They could've just sat back this year, kept building the team, let TJ play out his last year and see where he is next year, sign a veteran guy like Brissett or Rush to get us through the year, draft a QB as a developmental guy, and maybe get him some experience if he's ready for it. Could've rolled over some cap space, develop your draft picks, and try again next year. This is BUTCHERY.

I doubt they are signing any RB for that amount of money, especially more than what Warren is making.

They will add through the draft.

He's not the only one pissed the Steelers didn't get him. Dowdle would have been an excellent option to pair with Warren, but the Steelers are sitting on their hands.

Khan continues to show the disturbing pattern I've mentioned before. He is too busy trying to find the perfect and in the process, he misses out on the good. That is how the Steelers ended up starting Van Jefferson at receiver last year. It is why they don't have their running back room settled. It is why they might be left standing when the game of quarterback musical chairs is over.

And what happens if the fourth-round rookie doesn't produce, as fourth-rounders often don't, and Warren buckles under a workload triple anything he has tried to carry previously in the NFL? That is a very realistic scenario.

I'm sure they will but that isn't a lot for two good backs.

I don’t things thats what is happening here. Not the same situation as trading away DJ. They clearly are going to use Warren as the lead back, right or wrong we will find out but that is the plan, so they aren’t going to bring a guy like Dowling in and pay him almost what Harris option was, might as well have kept Harris if they were going to do that.

I don’t know what their plan was at QB. Sounds like they wanted Fields back but Jets outbid them. Don’t know how much of an attempt they made for Darnold, couldnt have been a big push because Darnolds contract wasn’t that bad. I think that was the mistake made, not going all in for Darnold but I guess they aren’t comfortable with him.

There wasn’t a whole lot for Khan to work with at QB so Im not going to dump on him too much for that.

The Browns QB's will be Wilson and Pickett. They will be Waiting for the Midnight Hour to finish 4-13.

The bad thing is that the Steelers play the NFC North next year. We could very well be looking at 0-4 against that group.

I am. He may have screwed i[ the running back and he is definitely dropping the ball at quarterback. If Rodgers goes elsewhere, they are screwed.

They had a better team and more cap room than the Seahawks. They should have stepped up and gotten it done with Fields or Darnold.
