There are some folks in Seattle who really hate Russell Wilson. Apparently, some of them think Wilson was the one who talked Metcalf into asking for a trade.

 

He also works for Steelers Live(the teams official media channel), he does interviews and co-hosts the Extra Point with Missi Mathews for the Steelers official website, and runs the Mike Tomlin Show. He also calls their preseason games. He's an insider.

Maybe when Metcalf arrives in Latrobe in July he will think that is the weather all year round.

 

Hopefully Metcalf is a good influence on GP. Hopefully he improves his effort and teamwork as a result.

 

Who is left that you want them to sign/acquire? The pickings are getting very slim.

 

There is nothing official yet, but reports are saying Rodgers signed a 2 year deal with the Steelers. Waiting on an official announcement.....

 

Where are you seeing that? I don't see it anywhere. At this point, given the limited options, I've adjusted to this reality. I just don't want them giving him $90 million.

If you can, resign Russ, let him mentor our future qb. Rodgers is a no no. We are not going to Superbowl with either qb, lets build this the right way

 

I have the same hopes - my only concern is I think DK might have a big personality himself.

 

I didn’t want Jones or Darnold… def don’t want Rodgers. I read somewhere that Steelers offered Darnold?!
Steelers organization can’t seem to get out of their own way! Would’ve been a bad move. Right now Mason doesn’t seem like a bad move. Plus, I think he would be a great mentor for our future qb

Pickens won't be on the roster in September.... so I don't know why the media is gushing over the Metcalf/Pickens combo at WR.

Steelers are pretty much in the same boat they were last year... they need a legit #2.

 

Metcalf is the #2 lol

 

I know there are some reports that there is a 50/50 shot Pickens will be traded, but that is malpractice by Khan unless he adds another starting-caliber wide receiver.

 

Which puts us right back in the same position next season. Kahn actually managed to screw up the qb position than he screwed up the wr position last season.
