Joey Bosa released! Should the Steelers sign him?

    I don’t think so, but since the subject will come up I thought I would start the thread.
    He is good when healthy, but he has not been healthy for several years. It is a classic case of a very good player who is chronically banged up. I think he might be productive if given a smaller role, but would he accept that?
    I am not educated on the cap, so I don’t know what his would be. I would think that if he does not retire, he signs a one or two year deal with someone.

    I think he is a year or two younger than TJ Watt.

    Played in 27 out of 50 games last 3 years. Had 14 sacks.
    He's a 4-3 DE, not an OLB. He doesn't translate well to our defense.

    Highsmith has played in 45 games and has 27.5 sacks. And is far cheaper.

    ESPN source: Five-time Pro-Bowl DE Joey Bosa reached agreement tonight on a one-year, $12.6 million deal with the Buffalo Bills.
