I'd buy the first round. I'm guessing neither of those guys is touching a pitcher of Yuengling though.

Tee Martin was never given a chance, lol. That was told to me on the original Steeler site. He was better at Tenn than Manning! Sign, why talk to a guy who has to asses.

At this point I want him to come back, get us to the PO's and get a win. For no other reason than this crap is just a comedy at this point.

Also, if you wait until 2026 to get a qb in draft, Mason would be a much better mentor than Russ or Ahole

    Rodgers wouldn't stoop so low.

    AB couldn't afford it.

At least a better locker room presence, or so it has been reported.

This is true. QB play is not going to be pretty next season. Mason can chuck it deep to Metcalf and Pickens at a fraction of the price of ARod. The Steelers could eek out 10 wins with him.

It's not a joke. If the Steelers are going to get average QB play, then why pay big money? Sign a guy like Rudolph and spend that money other places.

It wasn't a serious or complete list, though I am wondering why we aren't hearing from the Rudolph fans.

I keep posting it because I'm genuinely surprised. Why isn't the "Mason wasn't given a chance" crowd not calling for the Steelers to sign him and at least give him the opportunity to compete for the starting job?

Well AB posted on X Aaron and the Steelers have a 2 year deal, must be true cause he said Russ was coming here last year, lol..I feel like we are about to get a stale Rothleisburger sandwich, scrape the mold off and see how long it lasts.

Macafee was talking to Ben and the conversation was the Steelers are building one of the scariest teams. It may happen, but it looks like it is being held together by elmers glue.

After Mason's last season in Ten, I doubt there are many of the "Mason wasn't given a chance" guys(as you call them) left. But like I wrote earlier, if all the Steelers are looking for is a stop gap, why not spend peanuts on a guy like Mason instead of breaking the bank for an over the hill primadonna like Rodgers.

Well, technically no one that is an impending FA is able to sign before tomorrow at 4 PM, so mostly everything we're hearing isn't official until then. But that aside, my bigger concern would be the 2yr/$90M contract. I don't want to hear news on that, now or ever. o_O

You keep beating this drum. I'm worried your arms will get tired.

In truth, I'd take Winston, Wentz, or Rudolph over Rodgers. I have no delusions with Rudolph, but I do like the guy, and would much rather get behind him than Aaron next year. But I'm a Steelers fan, and will get behind them no matter what. I'm just hoping they don't force Rodgers into the equation.

Just having a little fun with that crowd.

I can understand the logic of Winston or Rudolph, but Wentz? Hell no.

I wouldn't mind Cooper Rush or a similar DLG quarterback as long as they can have a balanced attack. Wentz needs a witch doctor or something to get his head on straight.
