One (maybe 2?) episode per week after the initial 3.

I'm not sure when they release. I want to say Thursday, but don't quote me on that. I usually don't watch until Sunday night.

Yes look like Thursday Midnight releases for the final 5 episodes - 8 in total. It's hard in a condensed series like this to replicate the "drifter" aspect of the Reacher character found in the novels and how much time he spends just wandering around (with his folding toothbrush) by hitchhiking and bus travel and then somehow always finds trouble lurking in small town USA. I like Tom Cruise as an actor but he is so far removed from the gigantic hulk that Reacher really is as is superbly characterized by the Prime series Reacher. Not sure if you're a Bosch fan but Titus Welliver portrays him wonderfully in the Prime series.

Yeah, Tom Cruise as Jack Reacher was an absolute joke. I didn't read the books, but knew enough about the character to know Cruise should have never been cast.

For that matter, TECHNICALLY, Alan Ritchson is too short to play him. ;) (He's 6'3'') But good luck finding someone the appropriate size who can also act the part. And Ritchson is just an absolute beast. He was big when he played Thad on Blue Mountain State. Now, he's ridiculous. :lolol:

... and yet, they still managed to find a guy who dwarfs him to play Paulie. :icon e surprised: I half expected them to get Hafthor Bjornsson. This guy even towers over him!

The last wife episode was just a mind twist for me. Do Innies have their own Innies? Question: Was his wife working at Severance when they were married?

I barely made it through the Outdoor episode, and then they throw this curve ball "Wife" episode at me. During the Outdoor episode when he said "This is the largest Waterfall on the planet", I had to ask "What Planet are they on?"

And, I still don't have a clue what year it is. The cars seem to be out of the 80s, the cell phones are smart phones with multiple cameras, and everyone has a cassette player.

I don't have Apple TV but family member rate that show as top 5 all time.

I am slowly making my way through American Sports Story - Season 1.

The first 2 episodes reminded me of the LA Lakers show Winning Time where they seem to just go out of their way and trash everyone. Except the University, which seems to get a complete pass on all their Booster related player perks that are never shown.

I keep thinking I am going to stop because of the Hollywood agenda that is being pressed in the series. That disclaimer at the end of every episode is hilarious. Yeah, we know everything is a lie here, but please don't hold us accountable for any facts, because we are just trying to tell a good story.

Anyway, just Finished Episode 4 which centered on the NFL Combine experience and concluded with the draft. Don't hate me Steelers nation, but I really loved the Bill Belichick character. :)

The Righteous Gemstones sure threw a shocker at me. Bradley Cooper is in first episode and does a great job.

Wife watches General Hospital. The difference between those actors and the HBO actors is day and night. I actually get a lot of laughs out of GH if I watch with wife.

A standalone episode just to give us the origin of the gold bible and Gemstone family was unexpected. Even more so because they didn't make it a comedy. Straight forward and basically earnest. It played almost like a Coen Brothers movie. I enjoyed it. I did NOT have Bradley Cooper killing Eugene from the Walking Dead on my 2025 bingo card. :lolol:

Well done! It didn't come to mind but the Coen Brothers was a great analogy.

Arnold Schwarzenegger son is in The White Lotus on HBO/MAX. I hate the punk ass role he is playing. I'm thinking that is what Arnold looked like before pumping iron.

He had a brief role in The Boys spinoff, Gen V.

It's eerie how much he looks like his dad (minus copious amounts of steroids and thousands of gym hours). All he's missing is the tooth gap.
