I sat in the same section in 3 Rivers for all 31 seasons with basically the same people kind of like a family.

When Bradshaw was drafted Hanratty was already on the team and I swear His mother sat a few rows behind me.

For years every time Bradshaw did something wrong this loud nasally obnoxious lady would yell “put Hanratty in”. Eventually Hanratty left the team and thus she stopped.

20 years later give or take I took my new wife to a game. Whoever the quarterback was didn’t do well. Out of nowhere the loud nasally obnoxious voice bellowed “put Hanratty in”. Our entire section broke up laughing and my wife asked what was so funny?

I just told her “you had to be there”.
