Rodgers isn’t going to the Vikings. He wants to start.

He could probably start over JJ.

Zero chance. They let Darnold go because they want to start the JJ era.

The asking price is reportedly a second round pick.

Von Miller cut by Buffalo. That's a non-starter.
Garrett re-signs with the Stains, $40 million a year, $123 million guaranteed.

Official note- the Browns are already $17 million over the cap. For 2026. Not including Garrett's new contract.

Is that before or after restructuring the unhappy ending massage fan’s contract?

The Titans have even more cap space than Seattle, I think it comes down to those two. Giants could be in on it as well. Schoen and Daboll could be out on their ass's if the Giants don't at least show a heartbeat this year.

He has to fulfill his destiny as an aging Packer franchise QB:

Favre: Packers -> Jets -> Vikings
    Rodgers: Packers -> Jets -> ???

My desire would be to trade Watt to TN for their first overall pick and take Cam Ward but we all know that probably isn’t realistic. I don’t understand why we are gonna go into a third contract with Watt when we are clearly more than a few players away.
My desire would be to not go after the highly priced free agent WR’s. We have a great talent in GP and we need to pay him. You can’t pay two receivers a ton of money. I would love to get Darius layton he is a faster and less volatile Deontae Johnson. Then go get Byron Murphy and sign the DT from SF that used to play here. We know him and he has been productive everywhere he has played. Then go get some solid depth pieces for the Oline. Obviously this all is predicated on us resigning Fields to a reasonable two or three year contract.

This would enable us to take best player available in the draft and also resign our key players like Watt and Pickens. Under this scenario Murphy would be the splash signing and the others would be high mid level signings. If we go all in on Dk Metcalf then we won’t have the money to both siextend our own players and sign other free agent needs. I would honestly love to get Ashton Jeanty as I think he is a rare talent and it would finally solidify the run game provided we can coach up the oline. It would be something to see him and Fields in the backfield together. Take Elik Ayamora or however you spell it in the second round who would match up well with Pickens and Slayton. Great blocking receiver. Then get your DT and CB.

We do all this I still don’t think we win a playoff game. Not because of lack of talent, but because of lack of coaching. The good thing is the coaching will finally be exposed and Rooney will finally have to address it like he should have a long time ago.It is a travesty this online coach and our DC is still employed here. I have a very hard time getting excited about this season with the lack of changes we made within our coaching staff.

The coaching has been exposed, at least to the extent lack of development and making changes to current standards. Still waiting for the 'big changes' that were supposed to happen. I won't express any real idea of how Art thinks, he may truly believe the approach is working and stay the course, he may not really give a crap, IDK. But in the end the results are consistently the same. Do i think we are going to win SB's on a regular basis? No, it's hard to even get to that level, but damn at least get us to the level to really compete for one.

It's related when it comes to deciding to trade for a WR.

Spend the least amount of money to find a franchise QB.

GMs are so dumb. Just last year everyone was in agreement that it is not a position to spend a ton of money on and then the Eagles splurge on Barkley so now everyone thinks spending money on RB’s is en vogue again. Except ya’ll don’t have a Saquon Barkley.

If the Steelers don't sign a QB before the legal tampering period begins on Monday.
