It is a game of rumors.
Something came out of the mouth of a comrade - "Daniel Jones" and I literally passed out.
I think Wilson is headed to the Raiders.

Let's re-sign Russell Wilson trade for DK Metcalf and sign Tyler Lockett in free agency :hehehe:

I saw that. I think we tried to trade for him. I would imagine they will take another look at him.

He has quite an injury history though.

    Debbie Downer here.

As long as Tomlin is in western PA I’m not really excited about any options anywhere except drafting high in the trenches and maybe a DB.

Just get this new draft crop a year playing in the NFL and then - HOPEFULLY Tomlin is gone after another mediocre or worse year that is written in the wind.

Use only the available cap space that cannot be rolled over into next season and resigning our GOOD and worthy players while maybe picking up a youngish free agent that comes in with solid skills and doesn’t need much coaching up from this pathetic coaching staff - get him ingrained in the city and squad for a year - become family.

I truly don’t care who we have at QB as long as they are very inexpensive. Go get Duck Hodges.

Maybe I’m a spoiled Steelers fan and should be glad that I’m not a Browns fan, but I have ZERO excitement for much of anything this year except that both lines improve and our younger hopeful guys from the last two years don’t regress.

Untill Mr. Obvious is gone I can only hope that foundations solidify on their own and don’t pick up poor developmental habits from the Tomlin coaching shrub.

    Let’s go 2026!!!

I hate to break it to you but Tomlin has a 3 year deal that is reportedly worth 16 million a year, so I don't expect him to be gone after next season even if they stink.

I sure the hell don't want to see it but I'll be curious how nasty it gets in Pittsburgh for Tomlin if we have a terrible season. Tomlin must go chants could get pretty loud.

Should the Steelers suck big time I do think changes will be made and if they are not I'll welcome the Steelers to the Pirates and Penguins.

Bosa has played in 28 out of 50 games with 14 sacks the last three years. Not worth the $28 million it would have cost to keep him.

DK Metcalf is seeking a trade....
Could be a contract ploy.... but at 27 that's an option I would consider but for the right price.
At ant rate, I would be tossing my name in the bucket as a trade partner.

Every time I go buy a new Truck, the dealer always says it is 'this price.'
    I never pay that.
    I'd have a suspicion you won't either.
Usually when I write these things, I know the price up front anyway. I have a pretty good friend that lost his mind and moved there to be a beat reporter.

Anyway, that aside.. D.K. is 27 and is typically a 1,000 yard guy. His TD's aren't spectacular but Seattle really hasn't been either.
I know quite factually that Seattle isn't at all happy and I agree with team sources, why not get the most we can.
None the less, I see no reason why Pittsburgh wouldn't work this issue to see if they can strike a deal.
And I don't mean make a single stupid call and ask the question then hang up content it can't be done. At that point, as an owner I would kick both those GMs out of the office and have my bodyguards beat them senseless. (A bit rough, I know... but come on man! :) )

Zero desire for DK. I want a WR that is going to move the chains. Steelers already have an outspoken deep threat.
