Dulac saying Fields will be QB in 2025

I don't think we will be able to get Fields or Darnold. I have a feeling they both end up in New York (Fields with the Jets and Darnold with the Giants), which will leave us holding the bag with Wilson, Rodgers, or Cousins. Tomlin would probably be happy with this, but I don't think anybody else would.

I get it, but the gist of most of these posts is so far reaching and usually amounts to squat. Even when the words come from the top source about there will be changes, OK, if it happens we will see, lol. I think it is actually worse locally, there are boatloads of YT channels with Steeler 'reporters'. and 'their sources say" is just a way of saying I heard it somewhere. The Steelers will sign a QB, who? When? Even if it is Russ or Fields will there be changes, the spin will be there that there will be. I agree that these vague posts don't mean much, but you are wrong about Josina Anderson. She is an experienced NFL reporter, most recently with CBS. She doesn't need something like that to become relevant.

I still suspect Fields should test FA unless the Steelers way over pay

Otherwise how does he know if he is getting the best deal

IMO he has already peaked and he needs to get as much guaranteed money as he can

sounds like we will play until we end up like WR last year. let fields move on. don't over pay for a couple of throw away years. draft two. there will never be a perfect draft pick we will be getting where we pick. bring back kyle allen, draft dart, draft howard. get a RB. get a WR. get and O-Lineman. we have added TE already. move forward and not sideways. if they don't work out you draft again next year. add to the defense while picking up the offense. we don't need a block buster player just because. get good players at many positions. coach them.
