We'll see if Dart makes it 52. More and more mocks lately have him going at the top of the second, often to the Jets.

Wake me up if Shedeur Sanders starts going out of the Top 20, and tell me it is time to be scared. Sanders is dropping like a rock right now.

Now, Shylo Sanders is another Story. Shylo is a hitting machine that destroys both the players he hits, and his own body from hitting too hard. In the NFL he will be a penalty machine for hitting people to hard.

Was crazy Shilo was not invited to the NFL Combine.

Sounds like he'll be a late-round flyer or UDFA. He's had quite a few injuries, including a torn ACL, shoulder surgery, and a broken forearm. When he's on the field he's got good vision and can hit like a truck, but he'll have to refine his technique if he wants to avoid flags and missed tackles.

was like one of my all-time favorite steelers thomas everett. small but the guy would wack anybody and usually hit them so hard he would hurt himself in the process. he ended up going to dallas and won a super bowl ring there. i wish we could have kept him back then.

Oh yes, but that's less than 15 starts per player. Most players aren't finished products after 15 starts... hell, most aren't finished products after 30. Fautanu and McCormick are coming into their first full year starting. Frazier has one year starting (and it was a good one), and Jones is coming into his second full year starting and his first at LT (sat to start his rookie year, though year 2 wasn't as we had hoped). Its a young group. McCormick and Fautanu will be 25 before the end of the 2025 season. Jones and Frazier are going to turn 24 before the season is over... The guy with the most starts of those four (Jones - 27) is just barely not the youngest (2-1/2 months older than Frazier).

I'm not saying we can't add a player.... We probably want to have someone that can compete with McCormick (maybe bring back Herbig?) we need some back ups (swing tackle, back up C). Heck, we can even sign a starter if we want. But we spent the capital on OL already. We have to develop the young players we invested in and see who sticks and who doesn't. We can make decisions from there. I wouldn't mess with the starting 5 (outside of competition for McCormick) until after the 2025 season. We just don't know enough about the guys we have to make those judgements yet.

seumalo is in his final season. even if mccormick works out you will still need one. why not complete the job you started and not leave one big hole? we have tried with mid rounders and UDFA's and we are still trying to fix the line. it is pretty important to making this whole offense better. from running game to qb and wr's. next year you insert the draft pick with a year under his belt and many more starts with the guys you already have. guard is pretty important keeping the defense out of the qb's face and making the run game go. why just plop anybody in that hole? we spent the money for daniels and seumalo and had a good tandum. that has created a huge hole now.

The Bengals just released their starting RG Alex Cappa today. He might be signed for some depth behind McCormick.
