Because Wilson doesn't run like Fields and yes the Bears had hardly any talent either is why they traded for our scrub.. So no he has not had proper weapons in the NFL...

Deebo was traded to the Commanders for a 5th. So, he's no longer an option.

Deebo to Washington for a 5th round pick. I wonder what the Steelers were offering???
49ers eat $31 million in Dead Cap money. Washington picks up the remaining $17 million.

Are we in for another long year of Khan putting all his eggs in one basket and getting shut out again??? Khans biggest problem this offseason for the offense will be You can't polish a turd Right now this roster has to be close to the worst offense in the league.

Good choice by Deebo to go with an offense on the rise, rather than an offense that has already been pronounced dead.

Maybe nothing. Samuel adds an element to an offense, but he hasn't been the same since 2021 (1,405 receiving yards / 6 TDs; 365 rushing yards / 8 TDs) which is what got him the contract he's on now. But the past three years he's averaging 731 receiving yards / 4 TDs; 198 rushing yards / 3 TDs.

A 5th + $17.4M in cap space seems pretty rich for that kind of production.

Sigh... more excuses for an average QB.

Niners are about to flush the roster, aged players don't win SBs. Deebo was the first pull of the handle...whoosh.....

Glad we didn’t get him, he’s trending the wrong direction and cost a lot.

I wonder what Slayton, Godwin will command on the FA market?

Not excuses just simple facts . I have no ideal if he can become a better than average NFL QB nor does anyone else but getting proper weapons are key to finding out ....

Slayton is 28. Spotrac has him estimated for a three-year deal worth $15.8M/yr. That seems about right for today's market.

Godwin is 29. They've got him pegged for three years at $22.5M/yr. That also seem fair.

The question will be how much in guaranteed money teams will be willing to give. Godwin has had some injuries, and Slayton low production (from the Giants offense, the WR, or both?) that could impact those amounts.

Lack of weapons has not been the problem

Inability to process the position has been the problem

I agree in part he has had a hard time making reads from the pocket .A pocket QB he will never be.. I want to see the RPO QB with proper weapons.

Bye bye Najee. Eagles may have just reset the RB market.

Could be an outlier because he is so good but can’t see Najee settling for a cheap contract now. Someone will pay him more than we are willing to.
