I was watching DK Sports, and they were talking about how this is one of the weakest WR classes to come out in a long time.

They said that Khan is making it know that the Steelers have no interest in drafting a WR, and that accoring to most experts there is not a single #1 WR in this draft. They said the draft this year has plenty of #2 WRs, but nothing better than that. Does this mean the Steelers REACH for a WR in round 1, because of need?

Or better yet, Khan once again trades away the Steelers #1 WR and tries to replace him with another Roman Wilson in the draft?

i could see DL, OL, RB and not necessarily in that order. i think collins of texas could be in the mix for DL as well by the time the draft gets here. williams from ohio state as well. i still think donavan jackson would be one they should look at from ohio state for the o-line. of course judkins as well. if it went down as

    jackson
    collins
    judkins

i would be just fine with that haul.

Wait, you want a G in rd. 1? I'm fine with it, btw. They can't draft too many lineman for me. You're just the first I've seen pulling for OL in rd. 1.

Just kind of wondering after your last comment- are you insinuating that Dionte Johnson was a #1 wide receiver? And are you suggesting that the guy who melted down on three separate teams last year would have been beneficial to us? Or were you meaning Chase Claypool, who is currently playing for the West Manitoba CFL team?

i want one early but he is moving up many boards to the bottom of the first. we could use a guy like him. can play the money spot of LT if jones falls on his face or in a pinch but he is also one of the best guards in the draft. very smart as well. i think they don't take that into account enough. i would not have a problem if they went this route. besides that i like collins a lot and think he could be gotten in the 2nd. productive.

Gordon is similar to Najee, I think the team is looking for more big plays from the RB position.

They will acquire a #2 WR before the draft, Tet MacMillan has a chance to be a #1 WR.

I was talking about DJ. He was the Steelers #1 WR in 2023, and was traded away by Khan and then was never replaced; well actually they tried to replace him with Roman Wilson.

I understand that DJs 2024 season was a dissaster for every team he jumped too, but DJ was the Steelers #1 WR for years before that. I wouldn't ever call Chase Claypool a #1 WR here in Pittsburgh.

I don't necessarily disagree, just curious in what ways do you consider Ollie Gordon and Najee Harris similar RBs.

Both of them are big power backs with not so blazing speed, Dulac said he was told the Steelers are looking for an RB who has the speed to get to the edge.

It was a disappointing day Nolen, Grant, and Graham didn't work out.

I wonder if the Steelers will have any interest in Mark Bruener's son an ILB, maybe take a flyer on him in the 7th round he ran a 4.59.

He could up being a solid special teams player. He had a solid senior year for the Washington Huskies last year with over 100 tackles and 3 picks at middle linebacker.

Maybe as an UDFA? I would like to see Steelers draft Jack Kiser LB ND in late rounds, all he does is make plays and tackles.

alfred collins made more tackles then almost any other D-linemen on that board. 4.95 at 332 lbs. long arms. he has moved to the guy i want them to take. should be there in round two. both lines 1-2 may not be sexy but it's needed to strengthen this team. our o-line right now may have early picks but they are iffy at best. get a good one that gives you a high level at multiple positions along that line with smarts. then get a guy with high production and size. win win.

The Steelers have two 7th round picks I would take a chance on Bruener with one of them.

Could Ty Robinson be an Aaron Smith type of DL he's about 290lbs and ran 4.83.
