Kenny had a QBR of 39.6 for the game and he will get a ring

    He should

Ben had a rating of 22.6 against Seattle and he got a ring

KP. #8 doesn't play for the Steelers, yet you guys want to keep
talking about him. Why? You hate him that much?

You could have came in with that team and won a SB. I’m only half kidding.

A lot of scrubs have rings. KP is out of the Steelers gene pool, so good for us.

To paraphrase a conversation I heard yesterday on the radio....I was in group projects in school where I contributed very little to nothing on the project. But I still got the 'A' same as the rest of the group.

Kenny is a far better place.
He didn't drive Philly to the playoffs with his play, but he played well enough when he did and in practices he wasn't bad either.
The different is, they had an OC and QB guy in Kellen Moore. We had some guy named after some country or something.
If you asked each and every Philly player and coach, yes, Kenny did help the team.

It's more of slap to Pittsburgh than anything to Kenny.

What happens next in his career?
If he is smart, he'll stay another year.
I don't see him as a Franchise type QB but more of a backup.
What is done is done and Pittsburgh's focus should be nowhere close to Kenny Pickett. They have enough QB problems as it is.
There's a novel idea, if I were Tomlin and wanted to end my career on a high note, I'd be wearing the carpet out to the front office to get them to get me a QB.
It's real simple: No QB = No SB.

Yes, they do. The Steelers did a very good job of making Pickett a scapegoat.

I actually pretty much did this on my senior year engineering project

We had to form groups of 4 and do a design build project

I had no fraternity brothers in the class and basically no other students I knew or liked so I figured I was screwed

The 3 top guys in the class formed a group but were scared to death of public speaking and panicked at the idea of presenting this to the entire faculty staff and student class

They came to me and proposed they would be willing to do all of the work if I was willing to do the presentation

At the age of 13 I had 800 people in the congregation at church Stand because I told them to so I was never again afraid to speak to a group

Piece of cake my senior year

He wore a glove on his throwing hand, he might’ve gotten a rotten deal in pittsburgh, but historically Qb’s with gloves on their throwing hands are very few and are not that good (Teddy Bridgewater is the only other guy i can think of and he's a backup).

Imagine if the Steelers end up bringing Pickett back. I’m not advocating for it but it’s been lurking in the back of my mind that it could happen. Rooney planted the seed in my head and been there since. Something about hating to miss on a first rd pick or hating how things ended with Pickett, something like that.

Of course he’d have to compete for a job so he probably won’t want to do that.:taunt:

I remember that. The sloppiness by Ben and the refs that game took a little away from what was a dominant playoff run to that point.

He wasn’t a scapegoat, he sucked. He missed open receivers over and over. Most of what I read are Steelers fans jealous of him being on that team. Envy is one seven deadly sins.

IKR ! It’s all but a meaningless ring for him anyway. He can tell his future kids and grandkids that he did virtually nothing to achieve it. SB rings mean a helluva lot more when you actually partook in a meaningful way.

I was a big cheerleader for Pickett until he started whining about possibly being a backup in Pittsburgh then asking for a trade. Far as I’m concerned that’s nothing more than a bubble gum machine ring on his whiny finger.

Several points... First, Kenny was a non-factor for the Eagles but happy for him winning a Championship with his favorite team. Cool story. Secondly, with him having played in Pittsburg...Tomlin had years of watching him and, if he was not the answer, Tomlin whiffed big time wasting a 1st Rd pick. Third, looking back at two of the greatest QB's in NFL history, Brady and Mahomes... they turned into mediocre QBs when faced with serious, in-your-face pressure despite having excellent OCs and personnel around them. Kenny played under Matt Canada and had a BLEEP line that couldn't protect him or open holes for the running game. Just saying... Kenny may have left but the other half of that failure is still coaching in Pittsburgh.

All that work in the article for nothing when you can't at least get your main fact right .

The only thing I could think of is, I don't remember the Steelers trading back, or playing in the Superbowl for the 31st pick.

hes not coming back. And i highly doubt Tomlin will ask him to come back. That bridge was blown up like the bridge on the river Kwai.

I don't think Tom Terrific would have looked good under Canada. :this!:
