    Exactly

If that was the case just sign all of the Olympic sprinters

Although I still think you could convert heavyweight wrestlers into OL

JuJu wasn't a miss as a draft pick, neither was Diontae.

Here are some 1st round fast WRs that have come out in recent years. How many of them have been busts? I'll let you count.
And more importantly, which WRs have the Steelers drafted that are better than any of these WRs listed?

    2018
    D.J. Moore (No. 24, Panthers)
    Calvin Ridley (No. 26, Falcons)

    2019
    Marquise Brown (No. 25, Ravens)

    2020
    Henry Ruggs (No. 12, Raiders)
    Jerry Jeudy (No. 15, Broncos)
    CeeDee Lamb (No. 17, Cowboys)
    Jalen Reagor (No. 21, Eagles)
    Justin Jefferson (No. 22, Vikings)
    Brandon Aiyuk (No. 25, 49ers)

    2021
    Ja’Marr Chase (No. 5, Bengals)
    Jaylen Waddle (No. 6, Dolphins)
    DeVonta Smith (No. 10, Eagles)
    Kadarius Toney (No. 20, Giants)
    Rashod Bateman (No. 27, Ravens)

    2022

    Garrett Wilson (No. 10, Jets)
    Chris Olive (No. 11, Saints)
    Jameson Williams (No. 12, Lions)
    Jahan Dotson (No. 16, Commanders)

    2023
    Jaxon Smith-Njigba (No. 20, Seahawks)
    Zay Flowers (No. 22, Ravens)
    Jordan Addison (No. 23, Vikings)

    2024
Marvin Harrison Jr. (No. 4, Cardinals)
    Malik Nabers (No. 6, Giants)
    Rome Odense (No. 9, Bears)
Brian Thomas Jr. (No. 23, Jaguars)
    Xavier Worthy (No. 28, Chiefs)
    Ricky Pearsall (No. 31, 49ers)
    Xavier Legette (No. 32, Panthers)

As you can see from this list, there are hardly any busts anymore with regard to WRs drafted in the first round with speed.
So back to my original point..... Recently, there's almost 30 WRs that have been drafted, in rd 1, with really good speed, and Tomlin is totally missing the boat on ALL of them.
    It's time for a change!

Let's not forget who drafted Saquon (Giants), Derrick Henry was drafted by (Titans) how good were they all the years he was there?
And Bettis came from the (Rams) not Pittsburg.
The teams that drafted those RBs were not good.

But to your point a slower runningback like LeGarrett Blount was the starting RB on 2 Superbowl Teams. However; he started with the Titans who released him after 1 season. So that's, that.

The Steelers tried doing what you would do by drafting a slow RB, Najee Harris. It didn't work!

Short version of my story. I worked in a field that required volunteer assignment. We found out a long time ago that it's better to have the right person than it is to have the best person on paper.

What hasn't worked? Najee has had over 1000 yards every year.

1000 yard seasons in today's game is 59 ypg. Nothing special. And considering how many times he touches the ball per game his numbers are putrid. Anyone watching the Steelers play on Sunday understand Najee is what's holding this team back on offense.

He also runs behind our line. I think he's a solid back. He ain't Derrick Henry but, he's pretty good.

It's funny how Jalen Warren never seems to have a problem behind this same line. As soon as he comes in the game he rips off 6-8 yrs runs routinely. Then Harris comes in and it's back to -2 yards

Except for those times when he gets 9+ yards. You can dislike him all you want but don't be stupid. You really believe he's getting -2 ypc? C'mon.

Can't wait to see how much better our Oline get's the first season we're without Najee. I 100% guarantee you there won't be any offensive line issues in our running game next year. GUARANTEE YOU!
