Ben’s locker was the third from the left. Stairs and tunnel to the stadium is to the left. After a game one day a reporter hounding Ben followed him into the locker room and was standing on the logo questioning him.

James Harrison’s locker was at this end. He looked up and saw the reporter standing on the logo and sneered. Then James got up walked down to the reporter told him that no one disrespects the Steelers picked the reporter up carried him up the steps and out the tunnel and tossed him on the field.

To this day no one stands on the logo.

Who needs security with 92 around? Miss him a lot. Best SB play ever.

What's Harrisons stance on disrespecting teammates by sleeping in team meetings?

Man, judging from that first pic Russell Wilson is really intent on remaining a Steeler.

For Steeler fans but my all time favorite was when Don Beebe for the Buffalo Bills chased down a cocky Dallas Cowboy on his way to a TD and knock ball out of his hand. Bills were losing by a ton at that point and Beebe didn't give up.

The second photo shows that Steelers already have a controversial QB competition this season already
Justin Fields has his gear in his locker near 1st column on right

The picture was taken during the season

The only lockers that always have stuff in them is the three captains

The locker next to the post if you look closely us #28 Miles Kilebrew special teams captain

Yeah, when we did the stadium tour, the tour guide told us we could take picture of the logo, but that it was absolutely not allowed for anyone to stand on the logo except team members. He made a pretty big deal about it.

I didn’t walk on this either

Actually when we went out to the field we couldn’t walk on it either

It was the same day they had just replaced the turf

Interestingly but the main part of the field where the game is played is natural turf the surrounding area is synthetic turf

Synthetic turf can take a lot more foot traffic

OK - but I don't recall Beebe requiring oxygen resuscitation after the run nor was spoofed on SNL the following week. Also, 92's pick 6 was the scoring difference in the game when all was done and said. I remember Don Beebe getting slammed into the middle of the next decade by a stout Steelers DB named Gary Jones (?) possibly during one of the numerous post-season losses to Buffalo during their reign.

James played with true Steeler attitude, miss that . Hated to see him go as well as the 70 s players and coaching . roger badall has raised the money the nfl makes but at the expense of quality imho.
