As always everyone, before we go, time for some quick notes!!

1.) Mason Graham falling from the Top 10 doesn't mean he will not be a very good, if not great player. As far as run stuffing is concerned, he isn't the brick wall like Tyleik Williams nor the complete package in Kenneth Grant but he is the best disruptor of Run Defense in the entire class. Biggest problem I have with this is that disruption has never really translated into penetration in terms of pass rushing; something his teammate Kenneth had shown glimpses of more and more as the 2024 Season went along. Beyond that though, as I have been on record before, Mason is a rock solid athlete... but not one of superb, superstar capacity. To make it into my Top 10, you gotta have that, superb technique or a great blend of both. Mason only has the technique down... and much of that technique is more run defense focused than it is pass rush based.

    2.) Abdul Carter is the new number one of the Top 32 Big Board. Chances are, he is likely to stay that way. Now, where would he rank among the Generational Freak Shows over the last generation?! Glad you asked!! They are as follows below;

    1. Myles Garrett

    2. Chase Young

    3. Von Miller

    4. Jadeveon Clowney

    5. Khalil Mack

    6. Will Anderson

    7. Aidan Hutchinson

    8. Abdul Carter

    9. Nick Bosa

    10. Joey Bosa

Pretty rare company right?!... Well.. minus Clowney (though that microscopic knee surgery doomed his career sadly) Long story short?! He falls short of the top 5; therefore falling short of the Generational Label. That said, he will be an instant, plug n play DROY Candidate... no matter where he goes.

3.) Tet McMillian... phew man. The more I watch you, the more I see ya as good not great. A good number one but that is it. Think discount Drake London here.

4.) Will Campbell also falls out of the Top 10 but for now. Reason being is his measurements folks. Once that info is available, I will update accordingly.

5.) Armand Membou will rapidly rise throughout my Top 32. Only thing left for him is the Combine. Should he perform better than I believe he will, book him into the Top 15.

6.) James Pearce Jr. going up. Mykel Williams going down. Run Defense is almost non exisitent on Pearce Jr but his lightning first step (again, one of the fastest I have ever scouted) and his pass rushing chops will get him drafted sooner rather than later. Williams' limitless potential from an athletic standpoint, even among the likes of Carter Jr and Shemar Stewart (if you count him as one) is simply too great to ignore.

Overall, quite a bit of movement for some! A new face enters the Top 32 in Armand Membou while Isaiah Bond and Landon Dickerson bid us farewell. I suspect more names will also be bidding us the same in time but for now, those two are off.

That will do it though for the Top 32 Big Board!! Thank you all for reading and I hope you enjoyed! Remember, if you have any questions, comments or concerns, just let me know below and I will get back to you as soon as I can!!!

Take care, stay safe, and have an awesome day!! :steelflag::steelflag::steelflag:

James Pearce Jr. has received a lot of hype that I don't think he's really lived up to. He has great speed but, IMO, lacks the size and strength to be a difference maker in the NFL. There were way too many critical moments in UT games this season where he wasnt even on the field. He had some splash plays to stop opposing drives that kept him on the radar but was more like an occasional JPJ sighting.

    Not a bad board.

Personally Graham wouldn't make it out of my top 8 right now. And 27 would be way too low for McMillan.

    But that's just me.

Who are the 'Joe Alt' OTs in this draft? I don't want to see if somebody will work out over there. I want a next to sure thing over there.

I haven’t had a chance to watch full games of Kenneth Grant, but this extensive highlight film is a good watch. It’s not just a handful of highlight reel plays, but several dozen examples of him owning the guy(s) in front of him. It’s not just power either. He can penetrate like a 300 lb. 3-Tech.

He definitely has a high ceiling. His weaknesses are his conditioning and taking plays off, etc. but if he has the right fit and the right attitude he could end up being a force. I kinda think he's going to have a huge combine and shoot up the draft board ahead of us. I'm not super keen on taking a DL in the first, but he is one of the few (if no the only one) that I think I could live with. He has the type of ceiling and profile to make it worth it. Like a Dontarri Poe.

I think Harmon is good, but he's kinda a last resort (all other options have been picked). I'm not high on the fit with Walter Nolen. Neither do it for me at 21. I could get behind Grant though. I just doubt we will have a shot.

This kid is going to go top 15 IMO, if not higher. Absolutely dominant.

    Joe Alt of OTs?!

    None.

Talents like that seldom come around. Alt was one of the highest ever graded OTs I had the pleasure of Scouting. His biggest issue was his leverage and some small woes on generating power but that was basically it. Joe Alt is an All Pro in the making.

I wouldn't say seldom.... in the 25 years prior to 2015 (weird sample by the article I read), 19% of OT's drafted in the first round became All-Pro players at some point in their career. Now, Alt might be a perennial All Pro vs. an All-Pro or two season in his career (making him much more "seldom"). But OT isn't the toughest position to find an All Pro player at in the first round based on percentages. Outside of QB (5%) it is actually TE, WR and RB that are the lowest All Pro percentages (all right around 15%). LB, S, and C are the highest around 25%.

If looking at the general consensus of OTs in Round One?! I agree with this. However, the question was specifically are there any OTs that are equal to Joe Alt.

My answer still stands. Joe Alt was universally considered a rare, blue chip, plug n play Offensive Tackle coming out of Notre Dame. You have to go back to someone like Laremy Tunsil from 2016 to find someone similar.... well.... one that didn't pull the stupid stunt that Tunsil did anyway. Prior to that?! Trent Williams from Oklahoma. Prior to Trent?! Orlando Pace circa 1997; a draft where he was widely reputed to be a generational talent.

Long story short?! Don't sell Joe Alt short due to the high hit rate among OTs in Round One. Joe Alt is special; a talent that again, seldom comes around.

Fair enough assessment, just wanted to add some statistical context to the conversation. I can see how you would have Alt rated at the top of that 19% (thus making him more "seldom"). Just my two cents :)

    Top of that 19%?!

Phew man... quite a bit of great men you are omitting; the aforementioned Pace, Johnathan Ogden, Walter Jones, etc.

I don't know what I'm missing with Burden. I keep watching him, waiting to see that one play that shows me what he's capable of. That play that makes you say "Whoa! Ok, yeah, I want my team to take this guy in the first round." It just never comes. Not saying that he isn't good, but to me, he isn't a first rd WR. I really don't know if any of them are. Maybe I'm nuts. I don't see it from Golden or either. Egbuka doesn't have elite attributes, and many think he's gonna need to stick to slot. I'm looking at a bunch of 2nd rd WR's. Good attributes, not great. I don't love TMac either, but to me, he has the ability to be special. Really nice burst for his size. Love him with the ball, he turns and gets upfield quickly and runs with power. Reminds me of Puka.

I'd be happy with any of them in the second, but I don't see special, and that's what I want in the 1st.

I think its fair to say that there isn't "special", but I think a couple of these guys are very good. Burden is a highly touted prospect because of how he excels after the catch. He is thick, fast, and tough to take down in space. Not many guys can take a pass, break a tackle, then get out in space like he can and I think that is what makes him a first round talent. Kinda like a bigger Jaylen Wadde.

As for Egbuka, he's kinda a weird story because he's the #1 receiving yards leader in OSU history, but he's never been the best WR on his team. In fairness, he's been on teams that have featured Garrett Wilson, Chris Olave, Jaxson Smith-Njigba, Marvin Harrison Jr, and now Jeremiah Smith.... Those are high end WR prospects for sure. I think he's every bit the prospect Smith-Njigba was coming out, and does a lot well. He's got good speed, he's solid after the catch, he has good hands, runs good routes, and can play inside and out. I don't think he's going to be relegated to slot at the NFL level, though, I think he will play there some. I would imagine he's a similar player profile to Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jaxson Smith-Njigba, or even JuJu Smith-Schuster. I think he would be worth a first round pick and would be a very good #2 next to elite talent like GP.
