The Steelers have clung to their one-time Super Bowl-winning coach for another decade plus and let him run this team like the Roman Emperor Tiberius lingering for years in corrupt decadence on the Island of Capri.

Lurie cares about winning. Rooney cares about participation trophies.

 

Sorry about this post. I'm 100% drunk off my ass and will probably cringe at this later. Even still...I mean, it's def true and at least somewhat relevant / interesting to think about. I was at a SB watch party at my church and basically forgot Kenny even existed until the the commentators mentioned that he would be under center as the clock wound down...and I was suddenly hit with alcohol amplified PTSD about how terrible he was as a QB mixed with latent anger at the Steelers organization for not being anywhere close to as good as the Eagles lol. Anyway, goodnight y'all!

I was just going to make a post about this. How wrong is that? KFP has a super bowl ring and TJ Watt does not.

Heck, KFP has more super bowl rings than TJ Watt has playoff victories.

HAH. Funny the last 2 QBs drafted by the Steelers both have won Super Bowl Rings. (Chris Oladokun = 2 & Kenny Picket = 1)


QB keys to getting a Super Bowl Ring. 1) Get drafted by the Steelers, and then 2) get the hell out of Pittsburgh!!!

 

KFP should get a lifetime contract from the Eagles. I mean he had as much to do with them winning it all this year as MT did back in 08. Along for the ride…..

No one cares or remembers the SB rings won by backup QBs. Except the fans of the teams those QBs once started for.

 

Tell us you don't know what you are talking about without writing that you don't know what you are talking about. There are plenty of valid criticisms you can make about Tomlin, but this isn't one of them.
