Only reason I am a bit hesistant on Washington is they will also be big players for Tee Higgins. He will command $30 Million Per Year easy. Myles also needs his contract reworked as well.

Not saying Washington cannot do it but two players with high cap hits eating away at a large percentage of the cap?! Not something I would do if I were them.

It is mind-boggling how inept the Browns ownership and FO is. Obviously the Haslams are very good business people but they just can't run an NFL franchise.

What side of the ball does Washington most need to address? I strongly dislike Garrett and believe that he didn’t deserve the DPOY award, but he is certainly a Top 5 talent at a critical position. I can’t say that Higgins is Top 5, or even close to Top 5.

There in lies the whole point of FA.

Free Agency isnt about being the best. Free Agency has been, currently is and will continue to be how much people believe you are worth. Christian Kirk should serve as an excellent reminder to this. At the time of his contract, no one believed him to be a Top 5 WR.

As far as Higgins?! I concur he isnt a Top 5 WR but I can definitley argue Top 10. Adding him to the WR Room would instantly upgrade Washingtons Offense considerably.

As far as Garrett, dude is a 1 of 1 type of EDGE; he can truly be used anywhere on the Defensive Line.... no matter the alignment minus 0 tech. Adding him with Payne and/or Allen (I wouldnt be surprised if Johnathan Allen is a cap casualty) instantly upgrades that defense.

Long story short?! It can happen yes but if I am Washington, I'd focus on Higgins and upgrading that Offensive Line. While Jayden Daniels has superb wheels, allowing him to develop more in the pocket while boosting the talent around him on Offense should be priority number one.

Watch out for the Bears on this. They have a flashy new coach, young QB and lots of cap room

Agree the commanders make sense too.

It’s stunning how badly the Browns have handled everything in recent years. They are heading into 2-3 painful years of resetting once again.

Trading Garrett is going to kill them, they’ll have to cut / trade other important players just to get compliant with the cap. I can’t even begin to think how demoralising it will be for Browns fans to see Garrett go. He is the face of a team that had real hope not that long ago

The Browns were on the verge of being an AFC contender after their playoff win against us. Then they made the critical error of dumping Baker Mayfield and mortgaging their future for Watson.
