Kupp on the trade block

I don't think the Steelers have a 5th they owe one to the Jets for the Mike Williams trade.

 

they traded their own pick, but have 157 in the 5th from the rams.

 

Mathew Stafford is also on the trade block. What would you give the Rams for both Stafford and Kupp? 1st round pick?

 

Really? Not only do Stafford & Kupp bring their relationship with each other, but they immediately take over the Offensive Team leadership. The locker room attitude would immediately change.

This would be a huge win for the Steelers offense, and especially George Pickens.

This trade would be all about winning a Super Bowl in 2025. Trading a 1st round pick would definitely be all about the Steelers putting all their chips into the pot for next year.

 

Absolutely nothing, this is worst possible course of action I could think of.

 

There would be value in having Kupp in the WR room as an experienced and professional veteran. He is a savage worker and blocker and could really help the younger guys on the roster. That said, the price is key, he isn’t going to be a big contributor on the field any more.

There are other guys like Davante Adam’s and Christian Kirk who will also likely be available as their teams try to shed their contracts. I think either of those guys would give you more at this point.

Some of the above will be cut, no need to be giving up draft capital unless it’s a 6th / 7th and the selling team is paying some of the contract they are trying to get rid of
