He could be the best rb in the class. Perfect size and super explosive.

Milroe looked pretty bad in the Senior Bowl today. He threw a lot of one hoppers and didn't even look good running the ball.

His stock is tanking. Going to need a really good combine to recover. At this rate he’ll drop out of the first.

I think he dropped out of the first a long time ago. He's borderline day 2/day 3. I honestly think Malik Willis was further along at the stage.

I think he was still pretty firmly considered first rd. There were questions about him but now those concerns were on full display at the Senior Bowl.

Reading the tea leaves, if he drops out of the first there is a world where the Steelers could pick him if you take into consideration what Rooney said about having QB’s with similar skill sets. If they sign Fields they could feel that they can develop Milroe behind him.

Do we want a passer that skips the ball to the receiver? I don't think so_Other than quick processing/reading defenses Qb's must be able to fit passes into tight windows.

I’m just saying what the Steelers may do if he’s drops 2 or 3 rds and they feel they can develop him. I don’t think they would take him in the first round.

But if they sign Fields and you take Rooney at his word of having QBs with similar skill sets, that would put Milroe in play.

saw a video of some guys talking about the whole week. They explained the usual jargon, guys they have never played with, timing, practices are actually looked at as more important than the game, limited opportunities in a scripted game, blah blah. After all of that the conclusion was he can throw a ball far, had a couple of good throws, a lot of bad throws, and like Kenny Picket he has really small hands, lmao.

So the question is, did we learn anything from the KP experience, or are we just set on trying to make something out of nothing.

I don't see him as a 1st round QB. He wasn't even the top 5 SEC QBs this season IMO. Passing wise, he was like 8th in the SEC alone and that was with Ryan Williams who may end up being one of the best WR to ever come out ofAL. As a dual threat, teams proved they could shut him down running. And when they did, Alabama lost all those games. So when you look at his impressive 726 yards on 168 carries for 20 TDs on the season, look at the 4 Bama losses to Vandy, UT, OU, and Mich. He had a total of 35 yards on 52 carries with 1 TD. IMO, Some team will overdraft him and waste a pick.

Pretty out on Milroe myself. If we're going to try to develop a player like him, might as well stick with Fields... Fields is further along as a passer (even coming out of college), and just as dangerous with his legs. The amount of development needed with Milroe will be the thing that drives me away. We'd also have to sell out for the type of offense for Jalen and its not worth it if we're already hesitant to cut Fields loose as a passer.

Howard, Dart, and McCord are probably the options for me.

Agree on Milroe. I wouldn't waste a 1st on any of those other guys. It would be KP 2.0
