No not Roman Gabriel. The kid from Oregon. I'm thinking if he's there in round 2 he may be the pick

He was clocked at throwing the football at 75 mph during the Senior Bowl and after playing 6 years in college, he holds most of the NCAA passing records. But he is only 5'10" and will turn 25 later this year. Those things will scare away a lot of teams.

But, does he have "it"? Wilson is only 5'11", Kyler Murray is 5'10" Flutie was 5'10" (maybe) Brees is 6'. Mike Vick is 6'. All have/had pretty good careers. Height isn't everything. Ryan Leaf is 6'5". As for age, 24 years old coming out of college? That's 2 less years of being hit by NFL defenses. Brady and Blanda played pretty well in their 40s. Wilson and Rodgers are above average as they age. If this guy has IT, why not take him and get 10+ good years.

I'm just saying what the mock drafts are projecting for him. One thing for sure he has been really good his entire career.

I don't know anything about the college game. I just know there are a few good college QBs who couldn't make it in the NFL, Tebow, Manziell, Leaf and there are a few "scrubs" who did pretty well, Montana, Brady, Purdy........

I don't know how they measure that throw speed, but I would bet my beans that Gabriels arm isn't close to Milton's, let alone 20% more powerful(Milton = 62) I've watched him throw a lot of footballs and the impression that he has a big arm has never occurred to me, or any of the scouting reports I've read recently. I guess he can throw it 100 yards? :lolol:

get two. howard and dart. gabriel and dart. gabriel and howard. whichever. may the best player win and then the other is the backup. i'm not buying that this QB class is that bad. there are some good players in this one. for a team in need of one why wait? start the process.
