Should the Steelers draft a young qb like Jaxson Dart?

I remember him being Mr Irrelevant but forgot he came from the Pickett draft. So one good guy out of the whole class. That’s a pretty bad QB class.

I guess we shall see how desperate teams are, the players being mentioned are falling
in 3-4 th round on some publications I have looked at. Who knows? I see only 2 teams
have coaches capable of coaching them up.LARams ,SF49ers

What I wouldn't give to pilfer Stoutland from Philly. Probably have to give him a title like assistant OC for a promo to move.

why would he want to come here from a super bowl team? that would make him look worse as a coach when he's at the top of the heap. would be nice but won't happen.

No such thing as halftime adjustments. In game adjustments yes but there is no time during half-time to formulate any strategies. As Manning pointed out you go in to the locker room at half-time eat and orange or two use the restroom but half-time adjustments he says are a myth.

Dart through the best pass I saw in the Senior Bowl on the 2 point conversion he made. He rolled to his right and fired a bullet into a tight window for the completion. It was a next level throw that just came naturally to him.

Yes, and one of the biggest things that some are hung up on is the Kiffin offense. They say it's barely even a one read offense. They have no idea how he'll look in a pro style offense, under center, going through progressions.

As they should be, These QB's don't know how to read defenses. Other than Jayden Daniels ,Burrows, Mahomes, and Stafford and Bill's QB all the rest can't read defenses.

it's not just up to the coaches. you have to draft a qb that is capable brain wise to build on what is coached to him. intelligence. they all have talent to some degree. milroe and fields are players that live off of God given talent but i don't believe have the mental capacity to learn it and then put it into practice. a franchise guy can only go so far if he doesn't work towards that end. they can win games with a good team around them but when the stakes are raised they don't have that edge.

Have we ever had a seriously cerebral selection at quarterback?
Pickett probably but we let him go

not to the extent that they developed them into a tom brady. we did have a rocket scientist. ben didn't put in the work. many ride that God given talent and don't put the work in to be that type of qb. not that ben didn't work on his game but he could have been so much more. we had the team around him. some of that is coaching doing the same. they let it happen and continue. if they are here they may need to do much of it themselves.
