Despite the Pro Bowl's lack of importance, and we all know that there are so many players that opt out of playing in it, even if you are a Pro Bowl replacement, you still have to be in the top third of your position in your conference to make it. That's what always amazes me when I hear Raiders fans calling for Jim Plunkett to be inducted into the HOF. He never once made a Pro Bowl. So he never once was even considered to be in the top third of quarterbacks in the AFC in any year, and they think he's HOF worthy.

 

If more and more players keep dropping out the Steelers might have the most players in the Pro Bowl.

Now that Russell Wilson is a Pro Bowl QB for last year, I just hope this doesn't cause anyone to 2nd guess letting him walk out the door.

Too many times, this year you had to wonder why Russ didn't run the ball for the 1st or TD.


Queen had a good 2nd half; crazy he is replacing Smith at the Pro Bowl.
