actually, you haven't updated the saints/raiders trade that sent will smith to Oakland for their 4th rd pick yet.

I don't believe the Bengals trade of Sanu (with Miami) is there either.

the seattle seahawks have agreed to trade qb matt Flynn to the Oakland raiders for the #12 pick in the 3rd rd (recently acquired from the 49ers), pending confirmation from the raiders' gm and league approval.

Ok numbah sent me a PM (as hes on his cell and not on a computer and cant edit)...with the trades I needed to add to the pick list. And i just corrected/updated it along with putting in the new picks. So we should be good to go now.

As far as the trade of QB Flynn to the Raiders for 3rd Rd pick #12...

This is one of those situations where a team that covets a player might give up a little more than they are really worth to get them/etc. So while I wouldn't give up that much for him personally...if Oakland is OK with it then I approve this trade.

And finally...my teams are Buffalo and TB...I'm going to be working on getting their picks decided here soon (I've been gone most of the day). If the NYJ want to PM me their pick in case they won't be around...thats cool...so I can announce all 3 teams at once or something. Stay tuned...

While I agree that perhaps we might have overpaid a little, I also looked at it from the perspective of the Raiders front office. This is the same team that gave up a second round pick for Carson Palmer. :lolol:

If the Raiders see starter potential in him, a 3rd rounder is a bargain and a half. In about 30 days, we will see teams drafting risky QBs with early 1st rounders. Also the Raiders gave up a 2012 1st rounder and the 2013 2nd rounder. The 2nd rounder in 2013 was the icing on the cake for Cinci.

The Lions' GM would like to respectfully apologize for his third round selection of Dallas Thomas, the offensive guard from Tennessee. While we look forward to years of Mr. Thomas' mediocre to potentially adequate play at the position, we acknowledge that he will never be as good as Larry Warford, the offensive guard from Kentucky, who we obviously should have selected instead, but incorrectly thought he had already been taken, because of a memory that turned out to be a Steelers vote for Warford in the second round in another thread. We sincerely regret the mistake and understand the feelings of anger and confusion from our fan base that are currently being expressed in a flood of e-mails and tweets to our office. But at the same time, we ask the fans to remember that they have chosen to be fans of the Detroit Lions, and therefore should be pleasantly surprised that this didn't happen in the first two rounds as well. We at the Detroit Lions organization look forward to sharing with you, the fans, yet another glorious 4 to 8 win season in 2013.

I checked to see what your major needs were, and safety was at the top of the list. Rambo seemed like someone who Washington would pick even with the red flags and would thrive in their system.
