The coach is a QB whisperer who knows how to get the most out of his QB. I would not be surprised if this time next year Daniel Jones is looking for another $100M+ contract

I agree, no big contract but I think he’s worth kicking the tires on if they can sign him for a 2 year contract at about 30 mil assuming his last two games hurt his value.

andy is 37, How old is Wilson? He's a vet that could provide the kind of backup QB we need and come cheap. I'm betting he's an upgrade on Wilson.

Where are they going to get the better coaching? The coaches we have will be the ones that open the new season next year

I would. Daboll has a quarterback whisperer reputation, too. Jones had a strong group of receivers and a productive running back to help him this season, too, and he still couldn't get it done. He is an athletic guy with an NFL arm, but he doesn't read defenses well. He also hesitates, waiting for receivers to be all the way open rather than anticipating where to throw the ball. Quarterbacks like that are going to be very limited in the NFL.

He is an upgrade over Wilson and Fields. I just think some team is going to give him a contract comparable to what Daniel Jones got from the Giants a couple of years ago. Darnold's 2024 was better than what Jones did in 2022 to get that deal.

I am not saying that either. Agree with you, but Tomlin lives in his fears. He's either lying or oblivious to his own actions when he says he/they don't. Absolutely does. He fears high risk in games and unless you have other-wordly talent at 9 or 10 positions between the 22 starters, you can't play risk-free football any beat any half-decent team.

I want an OC that has ran a smoking hot offense, don't care if college or the pros and preferably one that did it with lesser players. i.e. joined an also ran college team but took mediocre or bad players and turned them in to a good offense.

Same with my DC. Find one that turned around a team, not one that took over for that DC that turned around the team. Find the brains, not the follower/lemming.

One of the best westerns ever. Having trouble placing that line in the movie though and I thought I knew every line :hmm:

Edit: google came up with the movie Seven.

It might have been, but in Mag 7, when the villagers contact Yul Brynner, they are sitting in a saloon looking for gunmen. One of the villagers uses that line when someone says 'what about him'.
