    also, 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 7, 7

Before the season started we had 2 fifths, no sixth, and three 7ths. We traded one fifth to the Jets for a wr, we traded 1 7th to the Packers for an edge. So 1 5th, 2 7ths.

Been wanting Savion for awhile now. Talk about a freak. He's like drafting both a WR and a RB. Though, we probably wouldn't know to use him in any kind of clever way.

And, of course, I've been pimping McCord.

I watched most of Miami's games this year, scouting Cam, and Martinez never really impressed me. He's an average back up imo. He's not terrible but we need a more dynamic rb.

I gave it a try....no trades....I think my next one I will trade down in the first and see what happens.

TBH outside of DL here, I'm not sure we get a lot better from this. Williams is a bit of a projection, as he has the measurables but not high end production, I don't hate Thomas as a prospect, but I think Martinez would be a miss for us at RB. He projects similarly to Najee, and I just prefer we get a different type of athlete at the position. I want a shot at a top 5-10 back, not someone who will be a decent power back, but limited everywhere else. McCord wont last to the 5th, though I think he would be a fine pick. He kinda reminds me of Derek Carr. Hancock and Stackhouse would be fine at the end of the draft.

I would vastly prefer us to either draft a WR first, or figure WR out in FA. Second round is RB, I'd trade up for someone like Henderson if necessary, but would settle for a Judkins or Hampton if we couldn't get Treyveon. 3rd round and later would prioritize CB, DL, etc.

Also, there is a shot we decide QB is the route to go. Dart or Howard could be worth the shot at 21. If that is the case, we need to address WR and DL in FA and then go RB and CB in the next two rounds. The only position that I think we HAVE to address in the draft is RB. I don't like going the FA route at that position and the class is pretty good this year. Lots of guys that project to be potential stars at the position. WR, DL, CB are probably the other top needs and if we fall in love with a QB so be it.

Khan should be fired if he uses a second round pick on a RB especially if he trades up to get one, there are too many other needs I would wait until the 4th rd to draft an RB.

I completely disagree. This team is devoid of weapons... We are planning on going into the season with a non-elite QB, so we HAVE to have weapons to help elevate the offense. I don't think we can afford to wait past the second round for a RB. We can find another Najee in the 4th easy, but we moved on from him because he didn't bring enough to the table. We need someone who can be a game breaker, and this class has pretty good number of guys who could be that for us. Those guys won't be available in the 4th round. Every once in a while a guy slips through the cracks, but the hot spot at the position is in the 2nd round this year, and we absolutely should highly consider using pick 52 on a RB.

There will be plenty of RBs that will drop because there are like 30 draftable RBs, Henderson isn't that special to be drafting in the 2nd. WR, DL, CB, Slot CB are bigger needs

Same page. 3rd is bout the highest I'd draft a RB.

He certainly is in my opinion. He is the most polished back in the entire draft. His ability as a pass catcher, his pass protection skills, and he is the most dangerous back in the draft in the open field. He isn't a power runner or anything, but he is the absolute perfect modern RB. He is going to be Jahmyr Gibbs for some team, and I hope it is us.

I don't care if there are 30 draftable backs. I want a difference maker and there aren't 30 of those guys. I also don't agree that we have 5 bigger needs than RB. We can address a good amount of the others in FA, the only one that has to come from the draft is RB.

    1. WR
    2. RB
    3. QB
    4. DL
    5. CB

Who cares? This team isn't an RB from winning a Super Bowl.

That's a horrible defining metric. We're not 1 player at any position away from winning a SB (exception for QB obviously).

We need to be drafting as many really good players as we can regardless of position.... If we draft a top 10 RB with pick 52, we will be just as much of a better team for it (if not more so) than we are if we drafted a good CB or good DL with that pick.

I think you can get Henderson in the 3rd and if he's available there, I'd definitely run to the stage.

He will run a sub 4.4 forty, so I doubt he will be available in the 3rd. I don't think its a guarantee he is available in the 2nd.

The team can't stop the run or has a #2 WR, but let's draft an RB in the second round .

I don't know round value for these guys. Tough to make a mock in January. The scouting sites have a lot of OL high on their boards. Looks like there's good value on the DL as well. Does not look like a truly strong draft for DBs in the first although there are 2-3 that are there for all of them. Good thing we are deep at LB already.
QBs are unknown just like every draft. Make a wish and a prayer. WRs seem to be the stronger group. I think we can get a really good one to pair with GP.

1st - Tyler Warren TE PSU. Basically an offensive weapon that can do whatever you need. Taysom Hill but even bigger and stronger.

2nd - Xavier Watts Safety ND. Ballhawk that can come down and play the slot. Need meet BPA.

3rd - TJ Sanders DL SC. Quick off the ball!!! Good hand usage. Technique, size, and speed.

4th - Will Howard QB OSU.

5th - Donovan Edwards RB Michigan.

7th - Jack Nelson LT Wisconsin.

7th - Will Sheppard WR Colorado.

6th in rushing yards allowed, and T4 in YPC average.... "can't stop the run".

Also I said that WR is our top need. RB is second.

I think we have spoken about this before but I dont see anyway they wait until the 4th to address the Dline. I hope not anyway. I think the first pick will be Dline. Build the trenches first.

Keep in mind they are probably looking to roll with Warren next season so they probably wont be looking to draft a RB with the expectation of them being the lead back. Not sure they would use an early pick on a RB in that scenario.

My feeling on QB is if they sign Fields they won’t address QB this draft and will wait to see how he does and go from there. Not saying thats what i would do but I think thats what their mindset may be.

If they keep GP and sign a FA WR they won’t address that early either so with that in mind the first 5 picks could be something like:

    DL
    CB
    RB
    S
    WR

    Round 1 BPA

Steelers can grab Tahj Brooks out of Texas Tech in the late rounds to backup Warren.
