It's funny we haven't heard anything about pass rush win rate this year now that the media helped Garrett win it last year .

Whoever the Eagles D lineman is who nobody can run against should be DPOY. Jalen Carter maybe? I'm horrible with names outside of Steelers franchise. Too lazy to look it up.

Garrett literally stole it last year. One could make the argument that Watt would be stealing it this year (if he were chosen). TJ didn’t play well down the stretch but the league owes him one.

I heard Surtain Jr was the betting favorite FWIW.

Surtain got abused by the Steelers during game 2 in Denver. Easily the worst player on their defense that entire game. TJ doesn’t deserve it nor does Myles Garrett. Hendrickson deserves it over those 2 and it’s not even close. I don’t know much about the Eagles player cause I don’t follow the NFC much. What I do know though is while the Bengals defense sucked, Hendrickson was making all the plays. He was about the only one doing it for them.

Then they would be giving the award to Hendrickson just because he led the league in sacks, but last year Watt led the league in sacks and didn't win it.

If Hendrickson wins it he should thank Dan Moore during his acceptance speech because he couldn't have won it without him.

Halfway through the season I thought Dexter Lawrence was going to run away with the DPOY award. I’m not enough of a Homer to advocate for Watt to get it this season. I actually think Heyward should have been a finalist. The man has Ponce De’Leon on speed dial.

Based on what I saw this year, I like Hendrickson.

I’m not sure you watched the bengals this year. Very doubtful that you did. I watched them a lot just cause of my neighbors are all fans and I hang out with them during games. The Bengals defense was pure garbage but Hendrickson was making plays all over the field. He is a FA this year and I wouldn’t mind the Steelers putting in a significant offer. Him, TJ, Cam and Highsmith could wreck a lot of offenses is used correctly. He is a bit on the older side but like Cam his play did not slow down last season.

I’m 58 years old and I could probably get by Moore at least once during a game.

Yes was it three or four sacks in that last game. Terrible

Surtain or Hendrickson will get the is presumably

TJ was having a very good year until that injury and may have won it but I don’t think he did enough in the end

Joe Burrow is the only player nominated for 3 awards. MVP, OPOY and Comeback POY. He led the NFL in passing yards and Hendrickson led in sacks. The Bengals were the first team in league history to have teammates lead in these categories and they didn't even make the playoffs.

I have seen Hendrickson play plenty of times, him being bad against the run and not making the playoffs could hurt his chances of winning.
