Coaching changes I'd like to see

I got a DC candidate worth checking out that I'm sure that @AskQuestionsLater would love.

Georgia DC Glenn Schumann. The guy coaches a 34 base hybrid scheme that does exotic blitzes, plus he's helped develop many stars in today's game, and to top it off, he's only 34 (bout to be 35).

 

Wasn't Eberflus Chicago's HC? He'll no he ain't coaching my HS team.

But that's Kirby Smart's defense he makes all the calls Schumann is just a yes man

 

Is there anything you morons don’t know?? I mean there is no way you could possibly know anything about the underworking of that organization. I don’t know if you are watching too much TV, repeating what you boss or wife have told you or you read a good book. The amateur HR deep dive is sad at best.

All excellent points. The problem is the Rooneys have let this whole stability thing go to their head to the extent it is now hurting the team and paralyzing their vision in making proper changes. I just read an article where one of the Rooneys came out and said it isn’t just Tomlin but its all of them. So in a way he let Tomlin off the hook and he reinforced the peer relationship. The fact we haven’t gotten rid of the Oline coach or DC yet just reinforces are unwillingness to acknowledge the real issues which start at the top with the Rooneys and Tomlin.

SF had one down year and they fired both OC and the DC. The Eagles had a down year last year and they made major changes on the coaching staff. Those are organizations that get it. We aren’t going to change until we either stop enabling Tomlin or we get rid of Tomlin. I don’t believe Rooney has the intestinal fortitude to do either. At minus the Oline coach should be fired and Tomlin should be stripped of coaching the defense. They could go out and get the DC from Michigan but its just gonna be more of the same. I don’t understand why Watt and Minkah aren’t demanding trades, you would think they would have to see this.

 

Maybe you should look at his track record that got him that HC job?
