    The door is officially open to go after Darnold should the Steelers be interested.

    Vikes bringing in Jones which is a clear indication the JJ era will be starting at some point next season with Jones eventually backing him up.

    Darnold isnt going to be a backup after the season he had. They had to move on in order to play JJ.

    Vikings didn’t hesitate releasing Darnold. Yet, they signed Daniel Jones!

    It’s the most common sense thing ever. Do you really think the Viking wouldnt at least keep Darnold as a BU if they could? They know some team is going to sign him away this off season.

    How do you think that conversation would even go in the front office? “Hey, Darnold just helped us win 14 games, lets bring in Daniel ****ing Jones to start in place of him” :goofy:

    I would like to see the Steelers sign Justin Fields to Sam Darnold's 2024 $10 million contract this year.

    I think giving Justin Fileds a 1 year prove it contract for $10 million would be about right.
