There was a Steelers/Ravens game where I think Harbaugh made a call to go for two points or go for it on 4th vs a field goal and it cost them the game.

The Ravens board I lurk had so bad of a meltdown that they locked all the threads except the game day chat. ha

I still think the Bama fans are the worst in football though. Nick would lose two games and a bunch of the fanbase thought that the game passed him by. ha

I would be a hypocrite if I didnt admit that I am spoiled over 40 years following a team that is mostly competitive at least.

Of course, the pinnacle Lombardi's are the goal every year but the other teams exist also with the same goal.
Not trying to blow smoke AQL but your writeups bring substance vs "so n so sucks a$$ cheeks" lol

I may respectfully disagree with you points but at least you say how you see it and then pull up objective counter arguments for you case.

Nit picking a bit, but they were a dropped 2 point conversion from having to stop Josh Allen from getting a fg with about 1:20 left and 2 timeouts. So, certainly not guaranteed OT

Harbaugh's reasoning that he had suffered so many injuries in his defensive backfield, both before and during the game, that he felt that they had a better shot at making the two point conversion than winning in overtime. And TJ jumping and waving his arms made Jackson alter his throw to Andrews and the incompletion.

I like how the Ravens are built. Strong run game with enough of a passing game to keep teams from just loading the box every play. I love how they use jumbo package with their 300LB FB and 2 TEs. Their TEs actually block. They remind me of how we used to look on offense.
I feel like our offense has become too finesse lately.

The Ravens were the best team in the league last year too but beat themselves in their loss to the Chiefs. But that happens every year for them. If only Flowers wouldn't have fumbled at the goal line last year. If only Lamar wouldn't have fumbled late in the second quarter, if only Andrews would have caught the ball. They are the most talented team in football but every year they have one of those "if only" moments that knock them out of the playoffs. The only team that can beat the Ravens are the Ravens and they do it year after year.

It is a tough playoff season for "player's coaches". Sirianni and Quinn see different backgrounds, but are offensive/defensive minds while Reid and McDermott are in the same vein. Dan Campbell, John Harbaugh, Mike Tomlin.... combined 1-3 (only because two played each other WC weekend).

Game planning and coaching come to light in the post season more than any other game.... It's not surprising that these types of coaches have seen little playoff success in the more modern era of the past 5-7 years.

Desperate mistake by Andrew’s but there was a good chance that Allen gets the Bills in FG range even if he caught it. Allen would have gotten the ball with 1.30 or so on the clock and a couple of timeouts. It would have been very doable for the Bills

Tough loss for the Ravens but they were away from home against a very good team and kept it close. I don’t think anyone deserves to be fired for it

They reminded me yesterday of the seahawks against the patsies in the superbowl. I just knew that they were gonna run it with Henry. They ran the ball so we'll, but then tried to prove that Lamar should be mvp and messed it all up. I don't like the ravens(mortal enemies)but they had no business losing that game yesterday. Sound familiar?!

I think their lack of usage of Henry was due to them trailing for most of the game against the Bills, against the Steelers they led for the whole and kept feeding Henry the ball.

I don't really agree Ravens had no business losing. I think Buffalo played solid / smart game. They did what they needed to in the first half and then didn't make any mistakes in the 2nd half other than playing a little too soft at the end. This game wouldn't have come down to the 2 point conversion if Buffalo scored a TD before that drive. Baltimore made their typical playoff mistakes and it cost them. Sucks to suck.

At the end of the day, all that matters is that the ravens are out, hopefully the chiefs follow.

Bottom line is: Ravens will be among the elite teams in the AFC in 2025. Steelers will not be.
