I think your issues are deeper than a sports team not winning. But I suppose they should fire Tomlin, Campbell, O’Connell, Stifanski, Ryans, Payton, Zak Taylor, Harbaugh, Shanahan, and all the rest who failed to win it all this year. The Texans have bowed out twice in a row as have the a lions. Fire everyone and that will fix everything.

Sure, I've got some issues...a wife that spends lots of money, a 6 dollar haircut that exposes my newly acquired bald spot on the back of my head, I get a 'roid now and then, I got a small EVAP code leak (PO441) I'm chasing in my '14 Avalon, etc, etc, etc....and a football coach that is INCAPABLE of winning in the postseason! I understand those may be benign problems for you & these Mike Dumblin people around here, but just answer me one question, one simple little question...

How many more years without a PLAYOFF WIN for the Steelers are you personally prepared to deal with before you demand a new head coach for our beloved Steelers?

5 more...10 more...15 more...20+ more...? I'm serious, how many more years, dude?

Here's a question for you: in all the years YOU'VE been demanding a new head coach, how often has the front office listened to you? 5 times.....10?....15? .....20+ Why can't you guys realize that you're just making noise. Obviously the Rooneys are okay with the status quo.

$6.00 for a haircut???? The cheapest I can find around here s $18.00. Hard to justify that with the hair I have left........

My wife started cutting my hair back during Covid shutdown

She likes doing it so I don’t have the heart to go to a barber

So my wife is happy and I get bad haircuts

I get a buzz with a #2 guard on the clipper then my wife takes the guard off to do trim work

About 6 cuts ago she just makes a diagonal cut right rear to left front but forgot to put the guard on

I knew there might be a problem when she said “oh sh!t”

santeesteel, THAT is my personal favorite Mike Dumblin justification. and an easy, surefire way to cope with his existence...

"Uh, the front office is keeping him as coach, it's futile to challenge ol' man Rooney up in the Ivory Tower, so we might as well just give up, stop the noise, and pretend everything is OK with our head coach..." :applaud:

You keep bitching about your coach and calling him an unimaginative stupid name, you just come across as a bitter old man. "You Tomlins get off my lawn!"

Here we go...now I'm old & senile because I won't put Dumblin's sack in my mouth and hum a Steelers song! Whew, you Dumblin groupies are one piece of work, I'll give you that. Never, ever, saw such an average NFL head coach get defended to his death bed like Mike Dumblin...it's almost like he's cast some kind of crazy spell on people or something.

IDK what's going on, but it seems like a few of his "supporters" around here are his relatives or friends or some of his street ho's or some sh!t---OR--- maybe one of you is Dumblin himself! WTF is going on here????

Early in our marriage, my wife attempted to give me a haircut. It was pretty bad. When I went to Great Clips to get the haircut presentable, the stylist said, "Next time just have sex instead."

You're the one that came up with senile. Whether you are or not, I don't know. Just as I don't know whether or not you do, in fact, put TOMLIN'S sack in your mouth and hum. Just to lower your blood pressure, I think Tomlin needs to go too. Along with EVERYBODY on this site. The majority of us realize that Rooney ain't gonna be contacting any of us for our opinions. So, you can follow the team and hope for the best or be cranky and ***** all day every day. Maybe you could boycott! I hear that works!

I am still waiting for someone to tell me what Mike Tomlin is good at coaching-wise besides waving pom-poms and having a great E$PN PR machine for over a decade.

Tomlin is not good at offense, not great at challenges, not a good tactician, not innovative, poor at clock management, doesn't use timeouts well, has questionable decision-making, undisciplined players, and his defenses fold in crunch time.

He seems lackluster in quite a few important coaching areas.

Good on Tomlin for cashing those Art Jr. checks and coasting the last several years. I am all for employees exploiting corporations run by ignorant executives. I don't begrudge him getting paid and getting extensions.

I simply refuse to call somebody a 'good coach' whose teams have been sloppy and buttercream-soft in the playoffs for a decade.

He isn't going anywhere soon, so the standard is sub-standard.

I'm guessing most of us are watching steelers football for the entertainment value. So when the entertainment is no longer entertaining, most rational people are going to turn it off or find something else to do to be entertained. This is where I'm at with the steelers. I've had enough frustration and disappointment from watching the same old crap and lack of results for going on a decade now. As a lifelong steelers fan, it pains me to say it, but I've lost interest in this garbage team and am not entertained. No boycott, and I'm under no delusions that my measly financial contribution will matter a single iota to Rooney.

But as a businessman who is in the entertainment business, it would really behoove him to pay attention to what his paying customers want. They'll take their dollars elsewhere if the value isn't there. Watching the divisional round games this weekend has really underscored the fact that Tomlin's / Rooney's squad is light years away from being a championship caliber team. The mediocrity that has overtaken the culture of this franchise is disheartening and disappointing. And frankly, not entertaining at all.

I suspect that the group of fans who feel this way is growing larger with each season that passes without any meaningful positive change. At some point, the ambivalence of the fans will create revenue losses for the owners. I really don't care and would rather spend the years I have left doing things that are fun. Watching this continued sh!tshow in Pittsburgh ain't it.

Yep, I didn't watch a full game all season. It was pointless, we knew how this dumpster fire would end.

Does anyone know how to block or hide posts from a particular poster? There is one on here that adds nothing, trolls a dozen posters endlessly and acts like a donkey's butt endlessly. If there is a way, let me know, I'd be better off never reading another post from this imbecile.

Found it, I think. My first ignore. If this actually does the job, life just got better.

This is just nonsense, people are allowed to have an opinion and give air to them whether those opinions have any chance of being acted upon or not.
