I’m thinking Skylar Thompson is just someone to toss the ball in rookie camp for example because after the draft there may not be any other quarterback under contract

 

Yea, mostly a camp body/emergency 3rd QB.

 

He has been dreadful in his time at Miami. His best game was as a starter a couple of years ago in a playoff game against the Bills. He wasn't great in the game but the Bills struggled to beat them in a 33-30 win for Buffalo.

 

This is my suspicion as well.


Tomlin briefly talked about the importance of QB Mobility. Don't wanna be that guy but I have to say this now. Pittsburgh may be taking more of a look at Jalen Milroe from Alabama than I thought.


Still a long ways to go until the combine but... Milroe fits Tomlins desire of a QB with Mobility to a tee. If not him, Jaxson Dart from Ole Miss would be another QB I'd watch throughout the NFL Draft Process.

Before we get a q.b. who needs coaching and developing maybe we should get a coach or watch ground hog day for another decade .

 

If our offensive line could actually sustain a pocket for more than 0.3 seconds we might not need to have a lamar jackson type QB.

 

Please draft Milroe and play him all season. We will be 0-17 and get to pick Arch Manning with the #1 pick at the draft in Pittsburgh.
