i like the two guards from georgia. i like the tackle from LSU. i like 1 CB and 1 safety from texas. i'd love to see us get at least two out of any combo of this group. riley leonard later in this draft. get a QB in the pipeline this year to start learning. next year we look further.

I don't know too much about the guards from GA or tackle from LSU but I am all in on the Texas Players.

i'll have to rethink the riley leonard thingy for sure. he's like a poor mans brock purdy. he just wins. i was the only one on here that mentioned purdy to replace ben back then. purdy is a major step above leonard. i'll have to look further into these later round QB's. tyler shough from louisville or jt daniels may be in the conversation as well.

Jaxson Dart and Will Howard just might save this QB Class. Put them in the right system and they definitely are starter capable. I still stand by my statement about the majority of the rest of the QBs though.

new o-line coach first. trade seumalo. draft tate ratledge in the first and dylan fairchild in the 2nd. both guards from georgia. mccorrmick needs a lot of work. these two would start right away and improve the pass protection and help the run game. won't happen but this would fix a lot of problems.

I am thinking IDL and WR first 2 picks. Both are deep and for me it would boil down to which position has the BPA between these 2, then select the other position in the following round.

QB - situation - Sign Fields to a fair but not bank breaking 2-year deal with a club option for the third year. Include incentives. My thought for Round 3 would be Will Howard QB - OSU (I will be watching Monday night). Kid has size, decent arm, character and HEART. My only dilemma is will he be there in the 4th or do I need to snag him in the 3rd?

Depending on his CFB performance, Will Howard is either going to make a lot of money in terms of Draft Stock or lose a lot of money in terms of Draft Stock. No in between. Will is ridiculous at operating an offense and has shown he can do so in consecutive fashion. What Howard needs is a good QB Coach that can take those bad drop back habits of his away from him while refining other aspects of his game.

As far as for your first statement, that all depends on what happens with the likes of the WR Room. As I said in another thread, unless the Steelers are somehow, someway going to land Tee Higgins, the next best step would be to land Chris Godwin then draft one early as you said. Another case would be to sign Tee Higgins to a contract that has never been given to a WR in Steelers History and then trade away George Pickens away for picks. Sell high, buy low as they say.

Only reason the second option isn't likely is due to the fact that Higgins is going to want to go to a place where he has an established QB that can allow him to max out his abilities. The Commanders had been, have been and still are, to me, Tee's best landing spot. If Jayden Daniels can pull off the upset against Philly?! Book Tee Higgins to Washington faster than a New York Minute.

The draft is also pretty deep at RB. I think you snag in Round 4 if you get Howard in Round 3. If Howard is gone maybe check the RB litter that is left.

tee higgins i don't want. too many nagging lower body injuries. misses a lot of time.

i'm not a huge howard fan but he isn't that bad if he get's some good coaching that like aql say's they can refine him from the bad habits.

if howard were the pick, i would like egbuka. get a qb and a receiver that are familiar with each other. wouldn't be a bad 1-2 pick up.

we have to get an interior D-Lineman and guard minimum. would prefer in free agency. same for a wr. not named higgins.

He's be a great pick at a position of need. There is no excuse to not go IDL and WR early in this draft. A very deep draft for both positions of need. RB can wait until, Round 4. A lot of quality there as well.

Surprised their is no CB on your list. I think in what we saw of Cory Trice and James Pierre, both of them have no business playing outside CB.

I still like Trice, but currently the IDL and WR are more pressing needs than CB, but not by much. The 3rd round to me is the crap shoot: I could see them going RB (although I think they will wait until the 4th round), QB, or CB.

I will watch on Monday night, but I like Will Howard in the 3rd, if he is there. Big frame, good arm, speed, good character, lots of HEART, and good football IQ.

I know I've mentioned it before, but I keep coming back to Kyle McCord. I just like his game and tools. He can't really run but has funtional athleticism to move in and escape the pocket.

I don't know exactly what happened with him and Ryan Day, but I really don't care at this point. He can just play. He took two no-name wr's and threw for almost 5000 yards. I'd be willing to bet, if he were still in Columbus, and had Jeremiah Smith and Egbuka to throw to, I think the way he's being thought of would be different.

    I don't know man. I don't know.

I am thinking Ebuke @21 Barron @ 42 and Stackhouse @ 63. Of course it is early and FA and trades
will happen. Conversation Piece have no idea how Steelers will draft

I'd be fine if we didn't spend a high pick on defense. We need to refine the weapons on this team and I think the first two rounds are the place to do it. We need a viable WR2, which can be found in round 1, and an explosive RB. I think RB needs to come in the 2nd round where the majority of the difference makers will be taken. We can find another Najee in round 3 or 4, but if we truly want a difference maker we should look to Judkins, Henderson, and Hampton in the second round. High floor/low ceiling prospects like Mullings and Johnson should be available in the mid rounds.
