    Ben said today Mike has a huge fingerprint all over the rosters. Anyone who doesn’t acknowledge this is simply not willing to blame him no matter how obvious it has become.

    That's not how things work they aren't going to announce firings at the end of season press conference, they will happen in the next few weeks most likely.

    To be fair, he also said we've only had bad playoff games for the past 4 years.. so I'm not sure he's operating in reality at the moment.

    Ben said on his latest footbahlin, make no mistake Tomlin makes decisions. Essentially saying he is the main decision maker over Khan unless Rooney overrides it.

    We've been a laughingstock for at least 5 years now, this not new.

    Making the playoffs to get destroyed and embarrassed only makes it worse.

    I was just thinking if “Rooney is cheap” why would he let Tomlin hire an extra coach for a year

    Just a thought

    Tomlin my be a part of hiring but Rooney spends the money

    Limited options. Would still kick the tires on Darnold which is a bit risky in itself but otherwise sign Fields. He’ll either sink or swim. If he sinks maybe they at least end up with a good draft pick that they can use on a QB.

    The only scenario that would suck is he does enough to keep them picking between 15-20.

    The way Kaboly put it is that Tomlin signs off on everyone brought in. I’ve said that even when Colbert was here, no way they are saddling Tomlin with players he doesn’t want to coach.

    Not worried about the WR’s. If let’s say the WR room was GP and Adams next season that would be fine for Darnold. It’s the system in place I’d be worried about. Coaching probably has far more to do with Darnolds improvement than who he is throwing to.
