    O line was bad.

one thing about Wilson, he needs a pocket.

Guess you watched different Steelers games than I did. Guess you didn’t hear the games that do that for a living talk about him no reading the field missing open guys. Guess you are better at seeing talent than probably two hall of fame coaches in Pete carol and Sean Payton who both moved on from Russ. Nope Russ does nothing wrong and he is a great qb. He will lead Pittsburgh to a SB right beside Tomlin just you wait for it. Lol

And what do you think their record would've been this season if Fields started the whole year?

Not hindsight, it was obvious back then to me , we still don’t have a QB u don’t win in this league without a QB , if I was the GM I would of traded up in the draft in 2024 and tried to trade draft QB again and see if we hit pay dirt

Of the two?! Id imagine they go with Fields. More specifically, Arthur Smith has been noted to be more comfortable with Fields running his Offense than Russell Wilson.

I would have rather run it back with Pickett and try and develop our first rd pick before I ever would have gave Wilson a chance.

I couldn’t agree more. Wilson was the problem last night. Yes, our D was terrible but they were out there the entire first half. We were just bad in everything last night. Sucks because we looked decent for a little more than half of the season then just crumbled.

They had more success offensively with Wilson, so Smith being more comfortable is surprising.

    I would rather have neither.

I have no issue with a 3rd or later pick on Dart as a developmental QB, you need to completely rebuild your QB room anyway, UNLESS this would preclude them from looking at a top prospect in 2026.

Rogers lied and put his teammates and coaching staff in danger.

Wilson will never lead this team to no better than this year. This was a successful year for Wilson and Tomlin and maybe the Rooneys are happy with this. As long as at the end of the year the budget is a positive that’s all they are looking at. It’s a business not entertainment. Making multi millions and cracking a bottle of the finest bourbon last night for their financial gains. Steeler fans are loyal and we buy tickets and hats and they are happy with that

The question remains though is if Fields' inability to develop further as a passer would be a question or the steep decline of the Defense?! A classic case of "take your pick." No easy answers there.

Thing about Dart is that he could likely be in play much earlier than the Third Round. Remember that every NFL Team's Draft Board is different. For example, people knew that Bo Nix was going to be a First Round QB but most projected late. It wasn't up unti the Combine that the connection between Sean Payton and Bo Nix really picked up steam. After the combine?! It was all but a lock.
