Do you want Russell Wilson to return next season as the Steelers starting QB?

I recorded it. It's amazing how short the game is when you don't have to sit through commercials and fast forward through opponents drives and other time wasting stuff. It's more entertaining than other stuff on TV.

 

Just a thought but if you skip the opponent drives are you missing half the game

The defense perhaps

 

Reminds me of that Falcon/Patriots SB. Falcons should have ran it but then again Falcons should have never let it get to that point.

 

Best way to watch other teams. Any games outside of Steelers I have interest in I just watch that 13-14 minute highlight reel on YouTube.

Memory a little shaky but years ago someone taped a game and timed from the moment the QB gets under center to the time the play blows dead comes to like 20-25 total minutes. The NFL knows how to get the most out of an hour. It's all about anticipation in the NFL.

 

It was the Titans. I thought Tomlin's coaching was bad until I started watching the Titans. I only watched to see Rudolph anyway.

 

The only good thing about this losing streak is that Russel Wilson's price has gone from the 30s to the 20s.

If they can bring Russ back in for mid 20s, then they could still go out and chase a young QB.

 

I know it. I often have to watch Steelers games on NFL+. Even without skipping any plays, it still goes fast.

For Russ to work out you need everything to be perfect around him. You need great offensive line play which we do not have. You need a dominant defense which we do not have. You need multiple good receivers which we do not have. You need great offensive coaching and schemes which we do not have. You need great defensive schemes which we do not have. You need a great run game which we do not have. Then and only then when you have a nearly perfect team around him then you can enjoy what he may bring to the table. So basically what I am trying to say is no I do not want him back because we aren’t going to build the perfect team around him. Let him go be a back up in Miami or Vegas. Resign Fields as a Bridge QB and start rebuilding the franchise from the foundation, which includes alot of coaching change.

 

Yeah that was in the second half after we were down by 21 points and Baltimore was playing prevent defense. You have to put things into context. Wilson can’t throw consistently over the middle of the field because he can’t see the middle of the field. He takes way to many sacks and he is inconsistent when his first read is covered. He has a hard time extending the play at his age now and he gets a ton of balls batted down a game. He clearly sin’t the answer for this team. This team isn’t an aging QB away from success. They have alot more issues they need to address. A young talented QB that can at least extend plays can cover up some of this eissues. Wilson actually exacerbates some of those issues. But honestly I don’t really care who we get at Qb because it doesn’t matter until we fixer coaching situation.
