We had a franchise QB, and best receiver and a top rb in the league yet we couldn’t do anything for a decade. We gave up 48 points to Brian Bortles in playoffs one year. The biggest problem isn’t QB. Tomlin’s success early in his career was not due to his coaching. It was due to left over coaches and players from Cowher. Even then it took a miracle throw and catch to win his one superbowl along with freelancing Deebo that got a pick 6
