One of my good friends from college (long time ago) lives in Maryland and is a Ratbird fan. The texts are getting out of control already at 1pm. God. a win would be great. I am Terrible Toweling the guy to smithereens.

More information needed, my friend. Are we just talking your standard American lager, hovering in the 4-5% ABV range, or are getting serious and popping the cap of some craft/IPA/Belgian stout brews of 7%+?

Personally, I like to kick off with a nice IPA/2xIPA about 30 minutes out to set the mood, then ease back to something with a little less punch during the game.

Keep a bottle of Drambuie close for a good-luck nip when Tomlin decides to go for it on 4th-and-1 from his own 37 in the second quarter.

 

These are fair questions: I am starting now, with a Sierra Nevada Torpedo....9 percent. Maybe 2 of those going into the Charger win....and then dinner and a few lesser IPAs, Southbounds, my wife will have half a beer. ... In case of disaster. there is a secret 12 pack of Longboy Natural Lights in the den closet. I may need those as well. Preparation is key: I don't run away from the beer....I run to it.

 

You must be going with the Atomic variety; I've yet to have one of the those. Had my share of regular Torpedos over the years.

It depends on your resistance to alcohol. You need to time it so that when the game ends, you are either able to slip into a happy sleep with good dreams, or pass out to avoid the pain.......lol
