No, they lost a game because a couple players dropped balls in the cold. They played the game hard and almost came back when they could have given up when it was 19-7. As much as people want the narrative that Tomlin has lost control and it’s his fault.

See here is my problem with the "too predictable" routes. It doesn't explain the results. Ravens were killing teams literally Henry shredding the record book every game and yet 1st Steelers game it was a Steelers/Ravens slugfest. The Broncos surprised a lot of teams not the Steelers. The Xmas day debacle was close until the self inflicted wounds. For such a predicable team they sure give other teams fits.

If they come out on the first possession and do they hey diddle diddle play then it will be a long day and they will need plenty of help. If they come out show the hey diddle diddle play and Russ sells a beautiful fake and then hit Muth on a seam route for 15 followed up by motioning Pickens across the formation and having him settle in the slot run a quick slant that Russ only needs a 2 step drop and force the Ravens to defend the field and then you hit them with the two headed monster and run them to their wheels come off because there is no tomorrow.

I want to see Benton at NT with Cam on oneside and Larry O/Smith/loudermilk/Lowery/Leal or any other college DE that you may have converted to LB on the line in a traditional Dick Lebeau 3-4 zone blitz scheme. I want Watt and Highsmith blitzing on every play with the interior linemen eating up blocks. I want Queen/Robert's to be locked in on Henry no matter where he goes. Elliot walked down to look like 9 in the box and Fitzpatrick overtop of Flowers every snap.

If the team had quit the Bengals would've scored more than one TD .

Games when Henry has less than 100 yd, the Ravens either lose or win by one score. Games when Henry has more than 100 yards, the Ravens usually win and win by more than one score. Shut Henry down and it won't win the game for us, but it will put us in position to win.

it's not that they quit. It's that they didn't do their jobs. Anyway, the defense did good they didn't quit. it's just this stupid offense and bonehead throwing pitches behind the line and screens that don't work. Having a QB who is too short--- cannot see over the line cannot throw fast---- tries to run but cannot. Coaches who cannot coach right. But this team doesn't quit they are just inept. A WR who thinks he is awesome but is not. <but don't tell him that>he will get mad and fight with his own fans. They Don't quit. We need to break this curse of losing. Beat the Ravens HERE WE GO :steelflag:Here we GOOOOOOO

I quit this one because I was still waiting for your answer.
Do you have some proof that Tomlin makes the defensive play calls?
Do you have proof that he doesn't? Do you have proof that you aren't kissing Tomlin's ass?

I don't see how Austin survives another year.

The Steelers really missed the boat in not offering the DC position to Brian Flores when he was here.

I was calling for it but they just gave Austin a contract and to turn around and fire him right away to hire Flores would have been really cut throat.

Pickens may have quit but I don’t think the rest of the team has.

We just have trash coaching with mostly mediocre players.

You have two guys hitting the rookie wall, one guy who was never any good, one guy who is washed, and another guy who is out of position, after carrying an injury thru ST and into the season.

It's not hard to figure out, and of course poor coaching we have seen that for years, and MT still trying to make one of his guys his LT. Like trying to make Slowee a #1 back, and Pressely Harvin an NFL punter.

He's got to be proved right that's all that matters, stubborn and egotistical to a fault.

Nah, they lost the game because they lost too many plays, came out flat AND made errors, it's not just down to two drops. They scoreflatterd the Steelers they had 38 minutes of possesion and were it not for a sterling effort by the likes of Cam we'd have been blown out.

We were outplayed for the majority of the game, especially early when the team came out in it's usual coma. Time and time and we see a comatose 1st quarter and a half or so, watch out for it again Saturday night.

The way the defense played against the Bengals would say otherwise.

The other teams are just better.
