He is signed for one more season. At this point I would not even fathom a major pay day for this petulant child.

Maybe they try to trade him? I know we have a bunch of 4's and a 3 as receivers. I can see them going after a prized FA ala Higgins. Not saying they would land him just someone in that range. Drafting one is not out of the question possibly 1st round and DT in the 2nd. Hopefully Wilson can come back next season and contribute.

Yeah because congratulating other players after a game is unheard of.

You should tell Russel to hit him when he was wide open, and we would be looking at facing the Texans this week.

You miss it where the browns beat writer convinced Steeler fans that Pickens started a fight with Bengals CB? Tons here believed that to be true.

Getting this upset over a game just shows you're worse than a wannabe browns fan.

Nobody is upset over just one game. It's a laundry list of things regarding Pickens. Trying to fight Browns and Cowboys players following their games, habitually being talked to on the sidelines, his face paint and so on. Hell, his scouting report, coming into the draft listed that he's a headcase. I blame Tomlin for not reeling Pickens in. Fine the guy for conduct detrimental to the team. This isn't about one night; this is about a guy that clearly doesn't want to be here. The question that needs to be asked is, which comes first, Pickens demanding a trade or the Steelers trading Pickens. And if this lasts until camp, expect him to follow the Aiyuk path to getting a deal from the Steelers. I can't expect the Steelers getting anything more than a 3rd round pick in return.

The fact you mention browns. the media thrives off of you throughout so much other non sense you're saying.

    It's sad. It really is.

When pickens is gone, the media will stop that non sense.

I wish people like you would wake up.

I do think the Steelers have been fining him. It’s just not advertised on front page news. If you search for “Pickens Fines 2023”, you will find articles that state Pickens was fined $200k last year (between the Steelers and NFL).

Wilson was bad again but Pickens performance was worthy of a benching, disgraceful.

Muth coulda had it but I don't think there's time to spike it anyway, Wilson's numb nuts scramble saw to that.

Overall, that's a drive that Ben gets it done on, no problem. But that's the difference between an elite talent, and a guy who is well on the downside.

LMAO how many tantrums do you have to see? How many half ass efforts on routes? how many more times do you have to see him acxting like a clown? how many more times do you have to see him unprofessional?

Enough with the conspiracy theories, he's just finally show his true colours, and why teams passed, it was more than just the injury.

Talented as all hell, but his attitude to the game is just terrible.

Pickens had a bad game but Russell Wilson had arguably his worst game of the season.

Where did I say anything about that? That love fest has been going on since the early 2000’s. Pickens is just a phenomenal talent with a ten cent brain who regularly takes plays off. If someone can’t see that then they are blind as a bat.

Exactly. I’m not as down on him as others are except when he’s half-assing it, I have no tolerance for not giving it your all on the field but the rest of the stuff, meh, Im used to diva WR’s I guess but none of the stuff you stated is made up or media driven, we see it with our own eyes.

There is a reason Pickens dropped and of course Tomlin thought he could manage him.

George (hands of stone) Pickens would've dropped it just like he did all of the other passes thrown to him.

and Ben lost it too, late in his career. Prime Ben, gets it done.

What yardline was that drop by Muth on, about the 40, correct? and he had room to run. Run, get tackled, spike the ball, kick the FG ...... and WIN, is what I remember. I will go back and watch it again today.....

Yup. Wilson also waited too long to throw him the ball when he was open on third down on the previous drive. The next play was the punt that bounced off one of the Bengals' feet, so people forget Wilson screwing up that play.

He was at the 48 and there were 11 seconds on the clock when the ball hit his hands. If he was really smart about it, maybe he gets another five yards before giving himself up. That would have left them seven or eight seconds to get set and spike the ball. I'm just not sure that is realistic.

No problem. I watched it again to check during one of the discussions on here yesterday. I had thought he was farther into Bengals' territory when he dropped the ball.

Probably not realistic. Seems the team misses on the fundamentals and situational football a lot.

Not his best game, but coaches have to put the players in a winning situation. They ran on 1st down almost all game. Game plan was horrible against a week defense. Why so many toss sweeps for no gains, why even play Patterson, so many bad moves on offense by the coaching staff.
